The pair clash at Gio Stadium in Canberra and both go into the game following derby wins, with the Brumbies having backed up their 40-17 home victory over the Waratahs with a 33-14 success in Perth against the Force.
Meanwhile, the Reds responded to their three-point defeat to the Fijian Drua by taking down the ‘Tahs 28-21.
However, the Queenslanders head to the capital having lost on 10 of their last 11 visits and with the Brumbies winning the last four meetings, they should be good enough to get the result that takes them above the leaders, the Chiefs, who have a bye week, and to the top of the standings.
Team News
The Brumbies have made two changes from the win out west in Perth, with hooker Billy Pollard and fly-half Declan Meredith coming in.
Meredith replaces Noah Lolesio, who is set to have the next fortnight off having thankfully being cleared of serious injury after being stretchered off in a neck brace last Saturday.
The Reds can recall Wallabies centre Hunter Paisami after a hip issue, and he is joined in coming back into the team by experienced lock Ryan Smith, back-row Joe Brial and fly-half Harry McLaughlin-Phillips, the latter replacing Louis Lynagh, who is working through the HIA protocols.
The Brumbies are the 2/5 favourites to win, with the Reds 21/10. A tie is priced at 18/1 and the handicap 3-way is set at seven points, with Brumbies -7 there to be backed at 10/11.
Brumbies to win by over 12 points @ 6/4
Saturday signals the second time these Aussie rivals have met in 2025, with the Brumbies running out 39-26 winners in Brisbane back on April 12.
Stephen Larkham’s side have beaten the Drua, Highlanders and Waratahs at home in 2025 and that 23-point victory over the ‘Tahs was followed by a 19-point success at the Force last week.
They look to have the edge on the Reds, winning the last four meetings. The most recent three of those games have been at Suncorp, and they meet in Canberra for the first time since the Brumbies triumphed 23-17 in March 2023.
The Reds have won three of their six road games in 2025 but look unlikely to improve on that record.
Both the Crusaders and Chiefs beat them by 12 or more points and that margin of victory feels attainable for the Brumbies.

Corey Toole to score a try anytime @ 4/5
Andy Muirhead (1/1 anytime) led the way for the Brumbies early in 2025 but Corey Toole’s form means he is the player to follow on Saturday.
The winger has scored seven tries across his last six games in Super Rugby Pacific, including three tries in his last two games.
Toole could be someone to watch out for to be in the Australia squad to face the British & Irish Lions this summer, especially as he gives you undeniable go-forward, with his 21 line breaks in 2025 being two more than any other Super Rugby player.
It may also be worth taking a look at Reds’ hooker Richie Asiata (13/8 anytime tryscorer), who like Toole, might be ready to step up to Wallaby level to face the Lions this summer after scoring five tries in his last four Super Rugby games, while he also scored two tries against the Brumbies in April.
