Brumbies vs Blues Odds

The Brumbies are 1/2 to win on Saturday, while the Blues are 9/5 to leave the Australian capital with the victory.

A draw at GIO Stadium is currently 22/1, while over 54.5 total points in the game is available at 10/11.

Team News

The Brumbies go with a front row of James Slipper, Billy Pollard and Rhys van Nek, while Lachie Shaw and Cadeyrn Neville start in the second row.

Rob Valetini, Rory Scott and Charlie Cale form a powerful back row and skipper Ryan Lonergan and Declan Meredith pair up in the half-backs.

David Feliuai and Kadin Pritchard are the centres, while Corey Toole, Ollie Sapsford and Andy Muirhead are the back three for the hosts.

As for the Blues, the visitors go with a front row of Ofa Tu'ungafasi, Kurt Eklund and Marcel Renata, with locks Laghlan McWhannell and Sam Darry in the engine room.

Anton Segner, skipper Dalton Papali'i and Hoskins Sotutu complete the pack, while Finlay Christie and Stephen Perofeta are the half-backs.

Pita Akhi and AJ Lam combine in the centres, with Caleb Clarke, Cole Forbes and Zarn Sullivan making up the back three

Brumbies -8 handicap @ 6/5

Having thrashed the reigning Super Rugby Pacific champions last weekend, the Brumbies should be full of confidence heading into Saturday's home game against the Blues.

Winning 50-24 thanks to an impressive second-half performance in Christchurch, Stephen Larkham's side have shown a clinical edge that makes the favourites to overcome the Blues in Canberra this weekend.

The Blues were not exactly convincing in their 42-32 win at Western Force and the Brumbies will pose a much sterner test.

ACT Brumbies have won three of their last five games against the Blues in Australia and Larkham's men are good value to win and cover the -8 handicap on Saturday.

Charlie Cale anytime tryscorer @ 11/10

Coming in at 6ft 5in and 105 kg, Brumbies No.8 is proving a tough man to stop in the Super Rugby Pacific this season.

Remarkably, the back-rower already has four tries to his name, having scored braces in games against Western Force and the Crusaders in the opening two rounds.

In that sort of form, it's hard to overlook Cale at 11/10 in the anytime tryscorer market for this weekend's battle with the Blues.
