Bath vs Gloucester Prediction: Cherry & Whites won’t enjoy Bath time

As the Six Nations takes a breath, there's Prem Rugby Cup action to take in on Saturday afternoon (15:05, live on Sky Sports+) as old rivals Bath and Gloucester face off at The Recreation Ground.
I've provided my Bath vs Gloucester predictions, in addition to all the essential team news and match odds for the clash in the West Country.
Bath are 1/10 to win on Saturday, while Gloucester are 11/2 to claim the victory and the bragging rights at the home of their arch rivals. A draw at The Rec is currently available at 18/1.
Team News
Bath go with Francois van Wyk, Kepu Tuipulotu and Vilikesa Sela in the front row, with Will Jeanes and Charlie Ewels in the second row.
Ted Hill, Ethan Staddon and Miles Reid form the back row, while Tom Carr-Smith and Max Ojomoh pair up in the half-backs.
Skipper Will Butt and Chris Harris combine in the centres, while Bath boast a formidable back three of Will Muir, Joe Cokanasiga and Tom de Glanville.
As for Gloucester, the visitors have gone with Ciaran Knight, Seb Blake and Afo Fasogbon in the front row, with Arthur Clark and Matias Alemanno in the second row.
Deian Gwynne, skipper Lewis Ludlow and Will Trenholm complete the pack, while Caolan Englefield and Charlie Atkinson start in the half-backs.
Seb Atkinson and Josiah Edwards Giraud start in the centres, while the Cherry & Whites go with a back three of Ollie Thorley, Will Joseph and Ben Redshaw.
Bath -16.5 @ 5/6
Gloucester managed to edge a 19-17 nail-biter when these sides met earlier this month in the Prem Rugby Cup at Kingsholm and Bath will be looking for revenge this weekend on their own patch in Somerset.
The Blue, Black and Whites require a bonus point win to edge past Gloucester into the top two and secure their place in the knockout stages of this competition.
Looking at the side selected by Bath boss Johann van Graan, it looks like they are serious about the task at hand and the hosts are more than capable of earning that bonus-point victory.
A talented back three of Muir, Cokanasiga and De Glanville are capable of running riot, while former Gloucester centre Harris will also look to punch holes in this Cherry & Whites' defence over the course of the 80 minutes.
Having won this competition last season, Bath have shown they have the strength in depth to thrive in the Prem Rugby Cup.
While they have left it late to finish in the top two in Pool A, Bath impressed in their last home game in this competition with a 33-24 win over Bristol Bears and they can land yet another bonus point win and those all-important bragging rights against Gloucester in this West Country derby.
