Australia vs Argentina Odds

Australia are 4/9 favourites to claim the win on Saturday, while underdogs Argentina are available at 19/10 for the victory.

A draw in Townsville is currently 22/1, while Argentina to be leading at the half-time whistle at North Queensland Stadium is currently 11/8.

Argentina +4 handicap @ 21/20

Argentina head to Townsville on the back of a memorable 29-23 victory over New Zealand in Buenos Aires last time out.

Outscored in terms of tries by the All Blacks, the Pumas punished the ill-discipline of New Zealand with the boot to claim the victory at Jose Amalfitani Stadium.

Now the Pumas head to Australia, knowing they have a good record when it comes to facing the Wallabies in recent years.

Winning three of their last four games against the men in green and gold, Argentina have enjoyed this fixture of late.

The Pumas earned a 67-27 win the last time they met Australia but that was on South American soil and a more formidable challenge awaits against an improving Wallabies side.

Australia have made progress since finishing their losing series against the British & Irish Lions, beating South Africa in Johannesburg before going close the following week in Cape Town, and they might just edge this one in Townsville.

However, the Pumas look good value with a +4 handicap in what could be a game that's decided in the last 10 minutes.
