The Kieran Foran revolution finally rocks up at Brookvale Oval on Sunday when the Manly Sea Eagles look to extend a three-game NRL Premiership winning streak under their new coach against the Parramatta Eels (16:05 local, 07:05 BST, Watch NRL).

Having started the season with three straight losses, Manly couldn’t look more different right now than they did in those early weeks. And that is reflected in Betfred’s odds for Sunday’s game.

The Sea Eagles are 4/9 for the win, at an implied probability of 69.2%, with the Eels 19/10 to back up last week’s convincing victory over the Bulldogs.

The draw is available at 18/1, while Manly give up a 7.5-point buffer on the two-way handicap. That scenario has the Sea Eagles priced at 5/6 and Parramatta 10/11.

Foran has suffered the loss of star full-back and captain Tom Trbojevic to a hamstring problem.

Toluta’u Koula switches from the centres to replace the skipper, with Clayton Faulalo called up into the number three jersey.

There’s just no going against Manly here, for me.

Under Foran the Sea Eagles have been a devastating force, and while the loss of Tommy Turbo is a blow, there has been far more in their arsenal than their superstar full-back.

I can see the home side getting ahead and staying ahead, with the Brookie crowd finally having something to get excited about after a nightmare beginning to the campaign.

While Parra were very worthy winners over the Bulldogs last time out, I don’t see Manly playing nearly as badly as Canterbury did at CommBank.

All of which suggests to me that the Sea Eagles have at least three more scores in them than the Eels, with 7/5 looking big to me.

A flying Manly on a gorgeous sunny afternoon at Brookvale is one of the NRL’s great sights. And that could well be what we see this Sunday.

They truly have that ability to put sides to the sword when they get their backs up on their own patch, so this 17/10 price about them winning both halves is generous if you agree with my outlook on this clash.

Not to underestimate the Eels, but if Manly are on, they will be very much on. Push it up Manly!
