Team News

The Eels make just one change to the side pipped by the Bulldogs on Monday, with Tallyn Da Silva cued up for the start in place of Harrison Edwards. In truth, though, this could result in a switch on matchday once more as has happened for the last couple of games.

Jonah Pezet is still out with a hamstring injury, while Mitchell Moses could return for New South Wales in Wednesday’s State of Origin Game II.

While instinct suggests to me that Parra will take this one, giving even half a glance to the Eels’ defensive returns this season makes backing them difficult.

The Raiders were slapped 26-0 by the Roosters last week, but on the whole ‘Sticky’ Ricky Stuart has managed to get Canberra competing again of late.

He was pretty short and to the point with the media after that performance at GIO, and was keen to emphasise that the nilling was “just one game”.

They’ve won four of their last eight, which is far from their Minor Premiership form of last season but is far better than their 1-4 run at the start of 2026.

Against that backdrop, I have the Green Machine to just about get over the line at CommBank, and a one to two-score win at 21/10 feels like fabulous value.
