Rangers are looking to build on last week’s impressive 4-0 victory over Livingston when they travel to face Ross County on Saturday at 12:30pm.

Ross County vs Rangers Betting Tips

  • Over 2.5 Rangers goals – 6/5
  • Rangers and both teams to score (YES) – 15/8

Team news:

After a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership, Rangers responded in fine fashion last weekend as they cruised past Livingston 4-0. What would have been most pleasing for manager Michael Beale is the fact that four different players were on the scoresheet, with Sam Lammers, Danilo, Abdallah Sima and Kieran Dowell all off the mark. Rangers were in Champions League play-off action in midweek and they were held to a 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox.

The Gers will be wanting to push rivals and reigning champions Celtic a lot closer than they did last season and if they can use last week’s victory to start building some momentum, they can certainly give Brendan Rodgers’ side a lot to think about. Malky Mackay’s Ross County have had an identical start to the league campaign as their opponents. They were beaten 4-2 on the opening weekend by Celtic but bounced back with a 2-0 home victory over St Johnstone last week.

Making Victoria Park a fortress will be key for them this term as they look to steer away from further relegation trouble and if they can get a result against Rangers, it would have a significant impact on their confidence.

Over 2.5 Rangers goals – 6/5

Rangers have shown us already this term that they have goals in their side. They fired four past Livingston last time out and scored twice against PSV Eindhoven. Beale’s men will be feeling warmed up ahead of their third league match of the campaign. It is also worth noting that they did hit Ross County for four in one of their meetings last year but it was at Ibrox. This doesn’t mean that the Gers can’t have a wonderful afternoon at Victoria Park. After all, they will be wanting to keep up the pace with Celtic, who currently hold a three-point advantage over them.

Rangers to win and both teams to score (Yes) – 15/8

After their excellent win over Livingston, Rangers will be hungry to start building a winning run in the league so that they can keep up with Celtic. Ross County have already shown this term that they can score against the big dogs as they scored two against Celtic in their 4-2 defeat on the opening day. With their defeat to Kilmarnock and their stalemate with PSV, Rangers are still suspect at the back. Momentum from last weekend should carry them over the line against Mackay’s side, but Ross County will be alert to punish any lapses in concentration.
