Juventus welcome Bologna to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening in Serie A. We take a look at where the betting value might lie in this fixture.

Juventus vs Bologna Betting Tips

  • Dusan Vlahovic to score anytime – 5/4
  • Juventus to win to nil – 5/4

Team news

Juventus laid down a marker on the opening weekend as they comfortably beat Udinese 3-0 with Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa and Adrien Rabiot on the scoresheet. All three goals came in the first half and the Old Lady’s defence looked comfortable against Udinese’s attack.

After finishing last season in seventh, there will be an expectancy from Massimiliano Allegri to deliver a much higher finish this time around. There is a lot of talent in Juve’s ranks and they should be in a position to challenge for the league title. Of course they face tough competition with reigning champions Napoli, as well as the likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan.

Dusan Vlahovic to score anytime at 5/4

Juve will have been pleased with their start to the campaign against Udinese. Vlahovic was on the scoresheet, with his goal coming from the penalty spot, and it is always a good sign when your striker gets off the mark early in the season. After his first goal came from 12 yards, the Serbian international will be eager to grab his first of the term from open play against Bologna on Sunday.

Since joining Juventus from Fiorentina with a lot of expectation on his shoulders, Vlahovic has struggled to set the world alight. He registered 10 goals in Serie A in 2022-23 so he will be determined to play an even bigger role for his side this term and contribute more goals. 5/4 is a great price for Vlahovic to score again this weekend.

Juventus to win to nil at 5/4

After keeping a clean sheet against Udinese, Juventus will fancy their chances of shutting out Bologna on home soil this weekend. Their defence looked solid last time out and were rarely troubled by Udinese’s attackers. Bologna are also yet to score after they lost 2-0 to AC Milan last weekend at home.

Despite registering 17 shots in the game, they didn’t really concern the Rossoneri which would indicate that they will find it difficult to find the back of the net against Juve. If the hosts play like they did against Udinese, they could wrap the game up before half-time for the second week running.
