Gulfstream Park Race 10 (21:50) – The Gulfstream Park Sprint Stakes – Con Compania (8) @ SP
This looks a decent renewal. The hat-trick seeking Damon's Mound (6) will take money. He faced a simple task when beating a field of Florida breds last month. Prior to that, he won a Grade 3 at Aqueduct. That field was arguably a little tougher than this one. He is two from two at Gulfstream and has an adaptable running style.
Wound Up (5) was well beaten in a local Grade 3 last time. He did pay the price for running hard early with a very talented runner. The six-year-old has a chance off the pick of his form in California and at Churchill in November. His trainer Jose D'Angelo has started to hit form after a quiet spell. He is a possibility along with the back in form Jack's Promise (2). The four-year-old won in a fast time over course and distance in late December.
Great Navigator (1), Ajaayb (3) and Rolando (7) all may improve second time back after a lay off. The first named is a very capable New Jersey bred. Rolando (7) is a two-time stakes winner including one over course and distance.
Beeline (4) is only lightly raced so may be capable of better. Maybe Con Compania (8) is a better price proposition. He didn’t stay an extended mile in a Grade 3 last time. He has form in sprints that gives him a chance. His trainer Bobby Dibona has a fine record when he makes the route to sprint move. He may be able to outrun his odds.

Oaklawn Park Race 8 (22:10) – The Nodouble Breeders' Stakes – Willow Creek Road (5) @ SP
The first five from last year’s race are in this line up. That day Navy Seal (4) caused a 12/1 upset beating Willow Creek Road (5), Lochmoor (2), Bohemian Bo (3) and One Ten Stadium (7). Navy Seal (4) has ran two nice races since returning to Oaklawn in December. He did lose by a nose Bohemian Bo (3) in the first of them. That six-year-old may be the lead on his own here. He is very dangerous under that scenario. Although ran down in the 2025 running, he did make all to win this the year before.
Willow Creek Road (5) has almost three lengths to find with Bohemian Bo (3) from December. He had been away almost seven months so may improve for the run. Some nice morning workouts since his comeback seem to back that up. He is a possibility. So too is the lightly raced Touchdown Arkansas (8). The twice a winner last year made a fine return at the start of the month. He lost by a neck to a fair yardstick with Al's Romeo (1) behind him.
Cybertown (6) mainly races over a mile or more. He is a capable late running sprinter at this best. For him to get more than a minor award, he needs something to run hard with Bohemian Bo (3) and there be a pace meltdown.

Oaklawn Park Race 9 (22:55) – Titled Lady (8) @ SP
Spring Dancer (5) comes off a career best when wiring a field by three lengths here last month. That run puts her on almost on a par with the very best of these. She is entered for a race on Sunday with a bigger purse so may be scratched. If she is absent, some of the speed comes out. That may play little against stalker/closer Pistol (3). Her victory at Churchill in November is standout form. She ran poorly when admittedly in deep on local return. So too did Titled Lady (8) in the same race. New connections were taking a shot after claiming her off an eight-length victory in January. The fact they run her back in this spot and not where she can be claimed is a positive.
Trainer Steve Asmussen is double-handed. Miss Arlington (6) may have the front to herself if Spring Dancer (5) comes out. Her stablemate Swiftwind (10) has speed but can just off the pace. She is on a hat-trick after back to back victories in Texas. Liuzza (11) comes out of better races at bigger tracks. The last time she ran on dirt, she was a winner of an allowance conditions event over course and distance.
Baytown Butterfly (2) gets class relief after not being disgraced in a local stake. She is a possibility in a race with many chances along with Popperina (9). That six-year-old has some fine back form and Joel Rosario is booked for the ride.
