Del Mar gets to host the 2025 edition of the Breeders' Cup and our US Racing correspondent Paul Quigley has previewed every Grade 1 race on Juvenile Day.

We kick off with Race 6 on the card, which is the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. This will get under way at 21:45 UK time and Paul is happy to avoid the 3/1 favourite True Love. Check out his thoughts and who to back below...

The Americans won the first four running’s of this race but the last three were won by The Europeans. True Love (9) is arguably the classiest invader to contest this. She beat Havana Anna (8) narrowly in The G1 Cheveley Park.

She won The G2 Queen Mary over this distance at Royal Ascot. There is a decent chance she will get Aidan O’Brien and favourite backers off to a perfect start. At the prices, the speedy Havana Anna (8) has a chance of reversing the form cutting back a furlong. She is two for two at today’s distance.

The home team have a few runners that could win this. They have the advantage of having form on these tight left-handed sprint tracks. Wes Ward has won this race three times. His Schwarzenegger (11) is lightning quick. He is unbeaten in two career starts including a stake at Keeneland. Lennilu (12) stalked the speed when winning a stake at Gulfstream.

She is a better filly than the one beaten by True Love (9) at Royal Ascot. Her post is possibly an issue. She did win from an outside draw last time. Like her, Cy Fair (10) can sit off the pace and finish. He did that when winning a stake at Woodbine.

The second and third from Newmarket’s Cornwallis Stakes Brussels (1) and Aspect Island (4) have good draws. The pair lost narrowly to a Charlie Appleby trained runner last time. He saddles Military Code (2) here who may have been kept fresh for this.
