Aidan O’Brien is sending more of his top quality juveniles to this meet in recent years. Precise (13) is bidding to follow up from Lake Victoria in 2024. She is just as classy as her. At The Curragh in September, she won The Moyglare (G1) at The Curragh over seven furlongs.
She was more impressive three weeks ago at Newmarket when winning The Fillies Mile (G1). There are worries with her at a short price. She will be going left-handed and around tight turns at least in race conditions for the first time. Like all of her trainer’s favourites today, she has a tough draw to overcome. It will take all of Christophe Soumillon’s skill not to lose too much ground on the turns.
Precise (13) may have too much for her rivals despite her post. Her price will mean there will be good each way opportunities. Many will think Time to Dream (9) will turn the tables on Imaginationthelady (3) and Infinite Sky (4) from a Grade 2 at Keeneland.
Her win at Saratoga prior to that was a better effort. Ultimate Love (1) meets better rivals than she did a Laurel but she did win that stake well. Maybe the unbeaten Final Accord (5) is the play at the odds. The last time Grade 3 wins steps up from six furlongs. It shouldn’t be an issue on pedigree.
Pacific Mission (12) is a lightly raced improver. Fellow invader Queen of Hawaii (2) is another filly is likely capable of better.
