Cinderella's Dream (9) ran second in last year's event over course and distance. She's won twice this term including The Group 1 Falmouth at Newmarket. Being proven under US conditions, gives her an edge over Arc also-ran Gezora (5). She may not have handled the soft ground at Longchamp and was against the race flow. The three year old had Bedtime Story (11) back in third when winning The Prix Vermeille (G1) in September.
See The Fire (14) lost by a neck in The Group 1 Prix de l'Opera last month. That form is as good as any in here. It did come on soft ground but she has form on good to firm. The extra ground here will suit. She has the widest draw of all to overcome. Over three turns here, that could mean she is hung wide.
On talent, She Feels Pretty (13) is the best of the home team. She didn't look like she wanted more ground when scraping home in the ten furlongs Grade 1 EP Taylor last time. In another stride, the slow starting Diamond Rain (6) would have ran her down. That filly may not be ideally suited to this track and William Buick prefers Cinderella's Dream (9). She still may be worth siding with at the odds based on the promise she showed in England and at Woodbine last time.
There are some price chances with other The American based runners. Bellezza (12) and Village Voice (4) started off their careers in Ireland. The first named is progressive. She had good yardstick Be Your Best (7) back in third when winning a Grade 2 at Saratoga last time. Village Voice (4) overcame a near year's absence to win a Grade 3 at Aqueduct.
