Horse Racing Tips: Moore set for winning return

There are five meetings scheduled to take place across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with a pair of jumps cards supported by three AW meetings.
The action gets underway at Lingfield at 11:30, followed by Haydock (12:08), Ludlow (12:20), Dundalk (15:30) and Kempton (16:05). Amongst our Wednesday fancies is one for Ryan Moore on his eagerly anticipated return from injury.

11:30 Lingfield - Sovereign Wealth @ 5/6
Lingfield stages a bumper nine-race card and there’s plenty to look forward to from the Surrey venue, not least the return to the saddle of Ryan Moore.
The three-time British Champion Jockey, who has been off since late August with a broken leg, will be busy on the card with five rides booked, the first of which is the George Boughey-trained SOVEREIGN WEALTH, who warrants another chance following a creditable run on his AW debut at Chelmsford a week ago.
Sovereign Wealth hasn’t reached the heights his lofty price tag of 450,000gns would imply, but he’s shown enough to suggest he’s got a race in him off this mark of 75, particularly in this event, which looks fairly weak.
Boughey was amongst the winners at Kempton on Monday and Moore has a 32 percent strike-rate at Lingfield over the last five years.

12:38 Haydock - Piaff Bubbles @ 9/2
Rebecca Menzies’ PIAFF BUBBLES was withdrawn from a race at Wetherby last week on account of unsuitable ground, but conditions look set to be in his favour at Haydock on Wednesday with a wet forecast in the lead up to this race.
The nine-year-old has won just once in a 26-race career, but he’s been extremely consistent in staying handicap hurdles for this yard, repeatedly running to Racing Post Ratings of in or around his official mark of 104.
He’s 5lb above his solitary success (3m, Wetherby - January 2023), but he shaped with real encouragement over an inadequate trip on his seasonal return and first run since undergoing wind surgery at Hexham last month, and would have finished closer but for being short of room on the home turn.
He’ll be entitled to strip fitter for that comeback and this extra half-mile should see him double his tally.

16:05 Kempton - Serenetta @ 8/11
Ralph Beckett’s SERENETTA is bred to be smart, being a half-sister to the yard’s now retired Bluestocking, who won three times at the highest level, culminating in a victory in last season’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
The daughter of Kingman has her work cut out if she’s to emulate her half-sibling, but there were some highly encouraging signs at Newmarket on last month’s debut and, with plenty of improvement expected, she’s going to take plenty of stopping at Kempton.
This is very likely an above-average maiden, but she’s already run to a Racing Post Rating of 78 and has the potential to get nearer to 90, and this more conventional track is likely in her favour.
