15:58 Ffos Las - Bank On Frank @ 12/1
Ben Pauling’s BANK ON FRANK flopped badly on his handicap debut when last seen, but connections were quick to blame the ground, which was officially described good, good to soft in places, and he should be far happier at Ffos Las now with conditions expected to be pretty testing.
The seven-year-old remains a maiden, but he’s only run seven times and caught the eye on a couple of occasions last season, perhaps most notably when keeping on from a hopeless position to finish third (admittedly well beaten) over 2m at Lingfield in February.
His best performance in terms of Racing Post Ratings (96) came when fourth at Fontwell in March, which gives him only 6lb to find off this official mark of 102.
His stable does well at Ffos Las, as highlighted by an impressive 28 percent strike rate (17-60) over the last five seasons.

20:00 Wolverhampton - He’s A Gentleman @ 7/4
Hugo Palmer’s HE’S A GENTLEMAN ran his best race for some time when runner-up over this course and distance at the start of the month and looks primed for a fourth course success, with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle for the first time.
The six-year-old tends to come into his own at this time of the year and is back down to an attractive mark, now 2lb lower than January’s course-and-distance win.
He ran to a Racing Post Rating of 78 last time, suggesting he’s nearing a return to last year’s peak, and that form has been well and truly franked with the third and and fifth home going onto win on their next outings.
He’s very consistent in this grade, only finishing out of the first three once in his 10 starts in class 5 company, yet should go off at a backable price with two recent winners in opposition.
