Horse Racing Tips: Juggernaut to roll on at Wincanton

A fair mix of flat and Jumps racing takes place this Thursday with three meetings of each.
Jumps action takes place at Thurles, Warwick and Wincanton, while flat racing is on the all-weather tracks at Lingfield, Newcastle and Southwell.
We’ve picked out three tips for you to follow.

13:35 Wincanton - Juggernaut @ 13/2
The Anthony Honeyball yard have been flying of late, striking at 25 per cent over the last fortnight, and they head to Wincanton with a strong squad and a real chance of a few more winners.
They appear to have a solid opportunity in the 13.35 novice handicap chase with JUGGERNAUT.
The six-year-old has had three runs over fences, going off favourite on all three occasions, finishing second twice and third once.
It’s easy to see why he keeps heading the market, as he runs a respectable race each time and continues to show promise.
He now has a good bit of experience over fences and, with the yard in hot form, this looks the right time to be on his side.
Honeyball also boasts a 20 per cent strike-rate with chasers at Wincanton.

14:30 Lingfield - Shuwari @ 9/4
The Fleur De Lys Stakes has been dominated by William Haggas in recent years, with five wins in the last nine renewals; however, he is unrepresented this time.
The filly who really jumps off the page is the Ollie Sangster-trained four-year-old SHUWARI, who brings a clear class angle into the race.
Her best form admittedly came as a two-year-old, where she finished runner-up in both a Group Two and a Group One, but she has continued to progress and gained listed success at Longchamp earlier this year, having missed her entire three-year-old campaign due to injury.
She finished sixth on her only start on the all-weather, but that was her comeback run and shouldn’t be judged harshly.
She is the top-rated horse by 4lb and has shown this season that she has properly trained on.
She hasn’t had a demanding campaign and can finish her year on a high with a big performance here. Rossa Ryan takes the ride.

15:20 Wincanton - Merry Monty @ 9/2
MERRY MONTY was arguably an unlucky loser last time at Uttoxeter.
The race looked to be his for the taking approaching the last, but a slight mistake caused a loss of momentum and he was headed by two rivals, eventually finishing third.
He had also made a worse error earlier in the race which caused his jockey to lose his irons, though they were quickly recovered.
He is capable of jumping far better than that, as he demonstrated at Taunton when winning over fences on his previous start.
He was off the track for 633 days between those two runs, and at odds of 20/1 last time out, the performance clearly exceeded expectations.
There is an obvious chance he could bounce, but if he can produce a similar level of form with cleaner jumping, he has a strong chance of winning here.
