Horse Racing Tips: Hunter has a win in his sights

All eyes will be on the two Premier Raceday cards at Newbury on Newcastle on Saturday, but there's some strong supporting action on offer too, with a total of six meetings scheduled across Britain and Ireland.
Things get underway at Bangor at 11am, closely followed by Fairyhouse (11.36), Newcastle (11.42), Doncaster (11.48) and Newbury (11.55). For Flat fans, Wolverhampton’s floodlit meeting kicks off at 16.30. Amongst our Saturday fancies is one for trainer Robyn Brisland who went close on her recent seasonal return and remains unexposed at sprint distances. Below you can find Saturday's Horse Racing Tips.

11:00 Bangor-on-Dee - Daylatedollarshort @ 5/2
Olly Murphy's DAYLATEDOLLARSHORT shaped with a ton of encouragement on his rules/hurdles debut at Plumpton at the start of this month and has every chance of going one better.
A runner-up in 3m Irish point in the spring, he's got lots of stamina in his pedigree, being from the family of Grand National winner Amberleigh House, so is likely to want further than this in time.
However, he showed more than enough on his introduction at the Sussex track to suggest he can win races over this distance, a mistake at the second-last doing little to help his cause on that occasion.
Useful 3lb claimer takes off a valuable 3lb.

12:30 Newbury - Hunter Legend @ 5/1
The Venetia Williams-trained HUNTER LEGEND has done nothing but improve since going chasing and the way in which he charged up the hill over 2m4f at Cheltenham last month suggests he remains on a good mark.
The eight-year-old has won five times over fences and has progressed from marks in the high 90s all the way up to 128.
He's now 6lb above his last win, but he's run to Racing Post Ratings of 136 and 133 on his last two outings, so clearly warrants plenty of respect with his recent Cheltenham run likely to have blown away any cobwebs.
A return to this longer trip, which he's 2-2 over, has to be considered a real positive.

12:50 Newcastle - Zanndabad @ 13/8
Tony Martin was quick to highlight this race as the target for ZANNDABAD after last month's Sedgefield romp and he's going to take plenty of beating if running to his official mark of 135.
A talented stayer on the Flat, finishing third in last year's Chester Cup and the valuable York handicap this season, he'd surprisingly failed to win any of his first nine outings over hurdles prior to winning in a canter at Sedgefield.
He looks bigger and stronger this year and is well treated on these, despite his 5lb penalty.
Daniel King, amongst the winners both on the Flat and over jumps in Ireland of late, looks like a good booking.
