Sunday Racing Tips: Gosden charge looking to progress again

Three meetings take place across the UK and Ireland on Sunday and first off is the flat meeting at Doncaster, before they go jumping at Ascot and Downpatrick.
Amongst our Sunday fancies is one for John and Thady Gosden who has been running well on the all-weather and who will be looking to translate that form to the turf.
Daily Racing tips - Sunday, March 29
- 15:05 Ascot - Munsif @ 11/8
- 16:05 Doncaster - Port Of London @ 11/4
- 17:15 Doncaster - Fine Interview @ 3/1
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
15:05 Ascot - Munsif @ 11/8
After a reasonable career on the flat for Roger Varian, Munsif was switched to hurdling this season and, while he has shown some promise, a win has so far eluded him.
Of his four hurdle starts he has finished third three times. He has had some excuses so far and he had a particularly difficult time last time out on the soft ground at Navan.
He ran well in the early stages, but the conditions took theirtoll late on and he had to settle for third. It was a respectable effort and showed that he is doing the right things.
He is progressing nicely, has all the qualities of a top hurdler and now on drier ground he has a strong chance to notch that first win.

16:05 Doncaster - Port Of London @ 11/4
Port Of London has run well on the all-weather this winter, barring a poor effort at Kempton in October he has been nothing short of superb and taking two wins on the way.
His performance last time out at Lingfield was arguably his best, running strongly throughout on his way to a comfortable win.
He is stepping up in class here, but his performance suggests that he will be able to handle it and there is even a suggestion that there could be more to come from this lightly raced four-year-old.
He has been put up 6lb for his win last time out and it remains to be seen if he can convert that form onto the turf. His only start on grass saw him never really get into the race and he finished a long way back, however, that was on his racecourse debut in July so that effort can be excused.
He has come on a lot since then and looks to be in good form, he comes into this with every chance.

17:15 Doncaster - Fine Interview @ 3/1
Fine Interview had a strong season last year with a number of impressive performances which were capped with back-to-back wins at Pontefract and then over this course and distance at Doncaster in October.
However, for all the good work he had done last season he disappointed when last seen, again at Doncaster, as he looked to find the heavy ground on that day a problem.
He ran well in the early part of the race but faded in the closing stages and finished in the middle of the pack.
Back down in class here, which should help, he will look to bounce back and now on better ground he should go well.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
