Sunday Racing Tips: Queen can rule at Market Rasen

It's been an awesome week on the racing front, as the Cheltenham Festival provided plenty of interesting stories and results. We're back to normal on Sunday however, with a couple of National Hunt fixtures in Britain and turf Flat racing returns to Ireland.
The Curragh gets us underway with their first fixture of the year and the feature race there is the €100,000 Irish Lincolnshire, while the National Hunt action in Britain comes from Market Rasen and Chepstow.
We have three strong fancies to consider across the afternoon and they include an Olly Murphy-trained runner at Market Rasen who looks well set to run a huge race.

16:07 Market Rasen - Keppel Queen @ 9/4
Olly Murphy's search for a Cheltenham Festival winner continues but landing winners at the lesser meetings has never been a problem for him. KEPPEL QUEEN was winless in eight starts for her previous trainer, but Murphy has managed to get a tune out of her.
She got off the mark in a mares' maiden hurdle on her stable debut at Warwick in October and she scored with plenty in hand that day. Sticking to her task well, she kept on to score by four-and-a-half lengths, despite jumping to her right on numerous occasions.
Murphy sent her over fences next time and that experiment ended quickly, as she didn't jump well.
However, the daughter of Black Sam Bellamy absolutely bolted up over 3m1f at Carlisle on her most recent start and a 7lb rise might not be enough to prevent the follow-up.

16:20 Curragh - Eastwatch @ 10/1
There are 26 runners in the feature race of the day at the Curragh, the Irish Lincolnshire. With a sizable prize pot on offer, it's sure to be a competitive race. Betfred are offering six places instead of the usual four and EASTWATCH is a very interesting candidate.
Andrew Slattery's five-year-old is making his handicap debut here and this will also be the four-year-old's first start over a mile. Three of his six starts thus far have come in Listed contests and he wasn't disgraced when fifth behind Purview at Cork last time out.
It didn't take him too long to get off the mark and he did it in emphatic fashion in a Gowran maiden over an extended 1m1f last April. Winning by nine lengths that day, the fact that he produced that performance first time out bodes well for a big run here.

16:42 Market Rasen - Malaita @ 9/4
Mel Rowley's MALAITA has been out of the winner's enclosure for a while now, but she does have some rock-solid form in the book and now looks fairly well treated. Her second at Hexham in November was a pretty reasonable effort and she's now on a 3lb lower mark.
She was an impressive winner in this grade at Ludlow back in March 2024 and kicked clear to score by nine lengths on that occasion. Stepping up in grade at Cheltenham next time, she went on to win the Grade 2 Mares' Novices' Limited Handicap Chase Final.
That four-and-a-quarter-length success came off a mark of 114 and if she can put her best foot forward here, winning a much easier race off 2lb lower shouldn't be beyond her.
