15:30 Beverley - Quirke On Parole @ 9/4
There are nine runners declared for this Class 6 handicap over 1m 1f and there are a couple with strong claims. I like the look of QUIRKE ON PAROLE, who landed her first career victory on the sixth attempt when competing C&D on June 24.
The three-year-old gave a strong performance and managed to take the victory by a half-length. She returns to HU17 rated 2lbs higher and great progress has been made in recent months.
Trainer Mark Walford and connections were pleased with how the last visit to Beverley went and now they will be hoping the filly can back that form up with another impressive ride here. She is expected to be a strong contender and I do like her chances.

16:30 Beverley - Pole Star @ 4/6
POLE STAR is declared for this Class 3 handicap over 2m, which is a first ride over this distance for the three-year-old. The colt is also set for his first visit to Beverley, too, but he arrives in good form, having posted a victory over 1m 6f at Haydock on July 5.
He only made his debut in May and trainer Charlie Johnston should be delighted with how his racing career has started, having two wins to his name already in five appearances. There have been clear signs of improvement with each ride, so Johnston and connections will be hoping for the same again at Beverley.
Pole Star is untested over this distance, though, so there are going to be questions asked of him here. However, from what we have seen from him so far, he shouldn't face too many issues in adapting to this trip. It's only a short field of four runners, so he is a strong contender on form.

17:00 Beverley - Sunny Orange @ 7/2
The day's action concludes with this Class 5 handicap over 7f and 10 runners have been declared for this one. SUNNY ORANGE will be looking to make it consecutive victories here on Tuesday, following his C&D triumph on July 4.
This was in a stacked field of 11 and he won by one length. This will be a third-straight appearance at Beverley, with the ride before this month's victory being a second-place finish over the same trip - and he was only beaten by a head.
The five-year-old is very familiar with this course and his form since June has been eye-catching. Trainer Tim Easterby should be pleased with how this season is going and he may be feeling confident in Sunny Orange's chances of going back-to-back.
The gelding arrives 3lbs up and will once again be partnered with Duran Fentiman, who has been on board for his past four rides. There seems to be a harmony between the two right now and it could lead to more success.
