There are six UK and Irish meetings taking place across a busy Friday, including an evening card from Newmarket.

They are joined on the Flat by Doncaster, Yarmouth, Newcastle and the Curragh, while there is National Hunt action from Cartmel. Our focus is on Newmarket, with seven races on the July Course at HQ from 17:40-20:55 and conditions are expected to be 'Good to firm'. Read on for my Newmarket tips.

18:40 – Crowd Quake @ 13/8

Just five runners for this Air Charter Service Handicap over 1m4f but three of them won last time out.

Meleri scored at Lingfield early in the month, while Enthused was on target at Chelmsford impressively eight days ago.

Both are respected switched to the turf, but they may have to go some to prevent CROWD QUAKE notching up another success for trainer Stuart Williams.

The Night Of Thunder gelding is thriving, leaving behind his all-weather struggles to post figures of 11211 since reverting to this code in early May.

He has won over 1m/1m2f and was a close second behind Tazaman at Leicester over this trip in his only defeat, with that winner obliging again next time from 5lb higher.

Claimer Olivia Haines took a while to get Crowd Quake into full cry over a mile here six days ago but he eventually picked up well. Rossa Ryan rides from an unchanged mark now and going back up in trip looks a positive for this bang in-form contender.

20:20 – Sixtygeesbaby @ 4/1

Tom Clover saddles lightly-raced SIXTYGEESBABY in this Aston Martin Handicap over 7f for three-year-olds and he's got solid claims.

The Starspangledbanner gelding won a novice event at Doncaster over 6f in April on his penultimate outing, his seasonal comeback, making it consecutive successes in that grade after his win on the other track here back in November.

He made his handicap debut here in May, doing so off a mark of 86 in a Class 2 contest worth £25k to the winner and with Jack Callan claiming 7lb in the saddle. They were only fourth but it wasn't a run without promise and sights are lowered now into Class 4 company.

He should also be able to improve now upped to 7f, while the booking of Rossa Ryan is a positive too.

20:55 – Sea Emily Run @ 15/8

The finale is the Trust A Trader Fillies' Handicap in which Chester winner SEA EMILY RUN looks the one to beat again.

Tom Clover's filly was game to get her head in front on the Roodee and the horses that finished behind her have run well since in better races, adding hope to the idea that the Chester race was decent.

This Too Darn Hot filly only has six runs behind, she shaped well enough in Listed company here over 6f in November and a 3lb ratings-rise for her win four weeks ago might underestimate her claims with quick conditions underfoot to suit.

20:55 Newmarket - Winner Sea Emily Run
