Nap of the Day: Signs point to a big run at Wolves

Hello everyone - I'm super-subbing today for my colleague Owen, and a big shout-out for his Cheltenham contributions last week. Four days, a nap on each of them, and three won. Tip-top stuff from Nicky Henderson's biggest fan.
I warmed up for this gig with three-from-four in Saturday's Lucky 15, all at odds against, and one tipped up at 9/2 that was returned 9/1. Every now and then we do a passable impression of almost knowing what we're up to!
Hope you had an enjoyable Cheltenham. So much to look forward to at this time of the year across most activities, and especially racing, with the National upcoming and then the spring Festivals, as the Flat season begins to stretch its legs in earnest. Can't wait.
Many thanks for your company, as always, and enjoy your sport.

20:00 - Faithful Dream @ 7/4
For Tuesday's Nap I'm heading for a cracking late afternoon/early evening meeting at Wolverhampton on their all-weather Tapeta surface - a bumper nine races all told that kicks in at 16.28.
The one I like is Mick Appleby's three-year-old Dream Ahead colt out of an Acclamation mare - Faithful Dream. Mick had a winner at Chelmsford less than a week ago and he's one of the shrewdest practitioners on the circuit.
It's no coincidence that the hugely professional Horse Watchers syndicate have used Mick extensively in their very successful operation down the years, and the trainer has garnered many an all-weather trainer's title along the way too.
He has an enviable reputation of improving horses when transferring to his Rutland base, but he's had this fella since day one, a debut at Beverley in a 5f maiden last May (sixth of 12).
After eight starts all told Faithful Dream is looking for that elusive first success but when last seen at Kempton 15 days ago under Danny Muscott (at today's 6f trip) he went down by the shortest possible margin, and that was after a tardy start and meeting traffic problems two out.
With better luck and and a smoother passage he wins that one for me, and that's not been lost on the assessor, who's put him up two spots to a mark of 60 tonight. And don't forget - his sire won a July Cup at this distance, and got to within 5.75l of Frankel in the St James's Palace at the Royal meeting.
With another absolute top-drawer jock engaged tonight in the outstanding Rossa Ryan, and given that the last spin heralded a Racing Post rating six spots ahead of anything he'd previously achieved, he looks like a winner waiting to happen to me.
The selection had a wind op in October after a poor run at Kempton and after four runs in 2026, culminating in that nose defeat in Sunbury-on-Thames, his turn in my eyes looks to be very close at hand.
