Nap of the Day: Big improver can continue on upward trajectory

Yesterday's selection took a hefty bump two out and understandably rather downed tools thereafter. Here's hoping for better luck on Kempton Park's Polytrack surface as our midweek Nap Of The Day looms into view.
The race I've got my eye on is; 19:07 Kempton
Nap Of The Day - Wednesday, August 27
- 19:07 Kempton - Tuesdays Child @ 7/2
19:07 Kempton - Tuesdays Child @ 7/2
This three-year-old Zoustar filly used to be trained by William Haggas at Somerville Lodge in Newmarket, but she was moved over to George Boughey's when changing hands in early August and she appears to be settling in nicely to life at Craven House - also situated at flat racing HQ.
Tuesdays Child was something of a revelation for new connections eight days ago, on this course, dotting up in a lower grade at a mile. Today's jockey Billy Loughnane, so often on board George's runners, was also doing the steering on that occasion and can't have been anything but impressed.
She's up a Class in grade today, and must handle a 6lb penalty - but the way she dealt with her ten rivals last time hinted at plenty more to come, potentially, and with this pair you just know she could hardly be in better hands.
She didn't in all candour produce anything eye-catching in four runs for William but for whatever reason the penny certainly seems to have dropped right now.
The fact that she's returning to this surface once again so soon after that fine run is a bonus too, and despite carrying the penalty her weight of 8st 11lb looks very attractive in the context of this contest.
Not the best draw out in the nine box, but time enough to get organised and there's always the welcome cutaway to aid the hold-up horses in the home straight.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
