Nap of the Day: Jim Goldie’s runner gunning for fifth-straight success

There are four race meetings to look forward to on Monday from the UK and Ireland, so I've taken a good look at each of the cards to pick out what I feel is going to be the best bet of the day.
So follow me to Ayr, where one of Jim Goldie's runners is in flying form and bidding for a fifth-straight success. Below you will find my Nap of the Day for Monday, August 18.
Nap Of The Day - Monday, August 18
- 18:45 Ayr - Jannas Journey @ 8/15
JANNAS JOURNEY is the runner in question, and the four-year-old daughter of Sioux Nation has been in fantastic form of late with four victories on the spin. She contests this Class 5 handicap over 7f on Monday evening and heads here with very strong claims.
Trainer Goldie looks to have unlocked her potential after taking the filly off peer Lucinda Russell's hands in May.
Goldie's yard have done some excellent work with her but it didn't happen overnight. It took the fifth attempt for her to land her first success for her new trainer but she hasn't looked back since.
She got off the mark at Hamilton on July 17 over 6f and has since followed up with a hat-trick at Ayr, two of which have been C&D victories. She knows this track very well and those two successes were fairly comfortable as she won by 2 1/4 lengths on both occasions.
A victory over 1m here was sandwiched between them so it looks as though Jannas Journey still has much more to offer. With her latest triumph coming just seven days ago, she will be primed for another strong performance this time around.
Her claims are only strengthened by her continued partnership with jockey Daniel Tudhope, who has been on board for the duration of her winning streak. Jannas Journey looks by far the strongest contender in this field and I doubt a penalty will hold her back on Monday.
She is adaptable, having won on good to firm and good to soft ground, so whatever the conditions are at Ayr for this latest run, she should have no issues. I believe there is much more to come from her and with the momentum she and Tudhope have at the moment, they look like an unstoppable force.
I think it will take something special from one of the other runners to deny them a fifth consecutive victory, so Jannas Journey is my Nap of the Day for Monday.
