Nap of the Day: Williams’ runner gunning for fourth consecutive success

Day 3 of the Ebor Festival at York is in the spotlight of Friday's racing action, but there are six other meetings on offer across the UK and Ireland with value to be found for my Nap of the Day.
Wednesday's Nap agonisingly missed out by a short head and I await to see how Thursday's selection gets on. For Friday, I turn my attention to Hamilton where one of Ian Williams's stable is on a hot streak.

The runner in question is BEYLERBEYI, who is on a hat-trick of victories. The five-year-old gelding has been declared for this Class 2 handicap (GBBPlus Race) over 1m 4f.
This distance should cause no issues for him as all of his recent successes have come over this trip, with one of them done so in convincing fashion. This came at Newmarket (July) on August 2, beating Just An Hour by four-and-a-half lengths.
The hat-trick started at York in what was his first experience at 1m 4f and he looked relatively comfortable and as though he had covered this distance on many occasions previously.
The son of Invincible Spirit continues to climb the weights but Williams and connections will be hoping that there is still more left in the tank to keep this impressive winning streak going.
There are seven rivals for him to contend with him on this occasion and a few of them also arrive here with solid claims, particularly Paddy The Squire for Iain Jardine's yard, who won over this distance on his latest appearance at Thirsk on August 8.
He also has experience over this trip at this track, posting a second of 14 finish in August last year, so he looks like the major player who poses the biggest threat to Beylerbeyi on Friday.
It may be considered a disadvantage considering Beylerbeyi has never visited this racecourse before but he heads here with plenty of momentum behind him and his hold-up style ensures that he should be there or thereabouts.
