Musselburgh Tips: Keep an Eye on one of Wednesday’s runners

Wednesday brings with it five race meetings for us to enjoy across the UK and Ireland, so there will be something for all kinds of racing fans. There's a six-race card scheduled at Musselburgh and this is where I turn my attention to for value.
Check out my Musselburgh Tips below.

15:00 Musselburgh - Twist Or Stick @ 5/2
There are six runners declared for this Class 6 nursery handicap over 5f and this contest looks fairly open based on recent form. The one who fills me with the most confidence is TWIST OR STICK for Alice Haynes' yard.
The two-year-old filly delivered a promising third-place finish on her handicap debut with fitted cheekpieces at Chelmsford (AW) earlier this month, before following up with a second-place finish at Brighton (5 1/2f) on her most recent appearance - setting the pace on both occasions.
The daughter of Mehmas is to be respected back in trip and I think she will be a big player on her first visit to Musselburgh.

16:00 Musselburgh - Elemental Eye @ 11/2
ELEMENTAL EYE finally got off the mark at the 21st attempt in a two-miler at Redcar last month and this was followed by a respectable third of five finish over C&D on his latest appearance on August 1.
The four-year-old gelding beat Wednesday rivals Lunar Power and Trojan Sun in a sprint finish on that occasion and he looks to have adapted quickly to this step up in trip.
This Class 4 handicap over 2m 2f may just play into his hands given his recent performances. Trainer Iain Jardine will be pleased with what he has seen from Elemental Eye so far over two miles and there is a sense that there is still more to come from him.

16:35 Musselburgh - Keep Me Stable @ 7/2
The penultimate race of the day is where I round off my selections. This contest is a Class 6 handicap over 7f and the runner who appeals the most to me is KEEP ME STABLE for Linda Perratt's yard.
The five-year-old mare has won on her last three appearances at Musselburgh, with two of them being C&D victories. On both those occasions she won by at least a length so she is returning to this part of Scotland with strong claims.
The other triumph came over 1m so there are no concerns about her stamina or staying ability. Her last appearance may have ended the winning streak but it was a respectable third-place finish at Ayr, so the daughter of Galileo Gold is expected to be a big player on Wednesday.
