Lucky 15 Tips: Baron to lord over rivals at Uttoxeter

Tuesday provides just the two race meetings across the UK following cancellations to a couple due to weather.
Below you will find my Lucky 15 Tips, which come from Uttoxeter and Newcastle.
Lucky 15 Tips - Tuesday, December 9
- 14:00 Uttoxeter - Baron Noir @ 4/9
- 14:30 Uttoxeter - Ski Lodge @ 13/8
- 18:00 Newcastle - Concert Boy @ 5/2
- 18:30 Newcastle - Superior Council @ 7/4
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
14:00 Uttoxeter - Baron Noir @ 4/9
Over at Uttoxeter, 11 runners have been declared for this Class 4 maiden hurdle over 2m. Nine hurdles must be navigated over the course of this trip and given last season's bumper form, BARON NOIR for Alan King's yard appeals.
The five-year-old son of Vadamos made his hurdling debut at Warwick on his last outing on November 20, posting a respectable second-place finish over this same trip. Tom Bellamy was on board that day and the pair reunite on this occasion, and I think they could go one better.
14:30 Uttoxeter - Ski Lodge @ 13/8
SKI LODGE will be looking to secure a victory on his first visit to Uttoxeter on Tuesday. He also represents King's yard, who has been enjoying some success of late.
The six-year-old son of Gatewood won his maiden hurdle at Haydock over 3m1/2f in December 20244 and he contests 3m in this Class 3 handicap chase on Tuesday. He also has a bumper victory at Chepstow to his name which came in January of that year.
Ski Lodge was beaten at Lingfield (2m31/2f) on his last appearance in November but it was his first outing of 2025 and it was not a bad run all things considered. Connections should be quietly confident of his chances here on his return to this distance,
18:00 Newcastle - Concert Boy @ 5/2
Evening flat racing action comes from Newcastle and Katie Scott-trained CONCERT BOY is well-travelled at this racecourse as he gears up for this Class 6 handicap over 1m.
The five-year-old son of Kodiac landed a victory here in November (7f), while he secured a C&D victory back in January. Aisling Oscar has been a thorn in his side in his last two outings in the past week.
He was beaten narrowly on both occasions so he is looking good shape on his return to action on Tuesday. Darragh Keenan will be in the saddle for this ride, and he has steered Concert Boy to victory twice at this racecourse in 2025.
18:30 Newcastle - Superior Council @ 7/4
The following race is a Class 6 handicap over 6f and there is a stacked field of 14 runners entered for this one. SUPERIOR COUNCIL is the one who I have a good feeling about on Tuesday for Iain Jardine's yard.
The six-year-old is another son of Kodiac and he too is very familiar with Newcastle. His last six appearances have come here over this same trip, including a victory last month as he made all. He's not shy to lead from the front and his latest appearance was a close third off the same mark he will have on Tuesday
He boasts strong credentials and I think he could be in for more success at this track.
