Lucky 15 Tips: Take Flight at Wolverhampton

There is a mixture of jumps and flat racing on offer across the UK on Tuesday, so there are quite a few attractive runners when it comes to making my Lucky 15 selections.
Check out my Lucky 15 Tips for Tuesday below.
Lucky 15 Tips - Tuesday, October 28
- 15:10 Catterick - Bollin Neil @ 2/1
- 15:28 Ffos Las - Donnacha @ 6/1
- 18:30 Wolverhampton - American Flight @ 7/2
- 20:00 Wolverhampton - He’s A Gentleman @ 7/4
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
15:10 Catterick - Bollin Neil @ 2/1
We start at Catterick with a two-miler Class 6 handicap, with 10 runners declared for this contest. There are a couple arriving here with decent claims and one of them is BOLLIN NEIL for Tim Easterby's yard.
The nine-year-old gelding is aiming to complete a hat-trick at this racecourse, with the winning streak starting over C&D on October 1. It was followed up with success over 1m6f last time out on October 18.
The son of Haafhd now has two C&D victories here and plenty of experience at Catterick as a whole. He returns 7lbs higher which will make this a tougher assignment, but he has plenty of momentum behind him and a third successive victory cannot be discounted.
15:28 Ffos Las - Donnacha @ 6/1
Over to Wales now where there is jumping action provided at Ffos Las. The fifth race on the card is a Class 3 handicap chase over 2m31/2f, in which 15 fences have to be navigated.
There are 10 horses declared for this trip and it is Nigel Hawke's DONNACHA who catches my eye for this one. The seven-year-old gelding makes his first appearance after a 261-day break and the season probably ended at the wrong time for him earlier in the year as his last two outings were successes at Exeter (2m3f) and Chepstow (2m31/2f).
Connections will be hoping the long wait hasn't disrupted his rhythm and I do believe that we will see more progress from the son of Jet Away this season.
18:30 Wolverhampton - American Flight @ 7/2
The evening action comes from Wolverhampton and this is where I have chosen my final two selections. This Class 5 nursery handicap over 6f looks to be an interesting battle as there is a stacked field of 13 and there are a couple to keep tabs on here.
AMERICAN FLIGHT is the one who I like the look of, who is one of two entries for George Boughey's yard. The two-year-old filly was off the mark at the fifth attempt on her last appearance at Kempton (6f), improving on a respectable second at Chelmsford (5f) on October 16.
There is a 7lb penalty that needs to be considered here but she has plenty of momentum behind her, ground conditions are looking optimal and Billy Loughnane is back on board for this ride.
20:00 Wolverhampton - He’s A Gentleman @ 7/4
HE'S A GENTLEMAN is another one of Loughnane's rides on Tuesday and I am backing him for more success later in the evening. The six-year-old gelding is representing Hugo Palmer's yard in this Class 5 handicap over 7f.
The son of Dark Angel is a three-time winner at this track, with two C&D victories included. He ran here over this trip earlier in the month, finishing a respectable second of nine, losing out to Thurso by just one length.
Returns with a 1lb rise which still has him 2lbs lighter than when he won here back in January. I think he has a huge chance on Tuesday.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £420 for your total £7.50 stake.
