Lucky 15 Tips: Speed can be key at the Curragh

There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday afternoon with the action kicking off at Cork at 12:10. There are also two other jumps meetings at Huntingdon and Carlisle as well as a Flat card from the Curragh.
We have selections and analysis for four races for a Lucky 15 on Sunday and each of our four picks come from the racing in Ireland, including the two feature races.

*Odds correct as of the time of publication
12:55 Curragh - Airspeed @ 10/1
Airspeed looked like a promising sprinter going places when trained in Middleham by Karl Burke, winning a Hamiton maiden before a couple of narrow defeats in the north and he has run a bit better than the bare results suggest in two runs for Eddie Lynam.
He didn’t beat many home over this course and distance on his return to action but he wasn’t beaten too far and significantly he met a fair amount of trouble in running in that contest.
He then had excuses at Cork in September, attempting to make the running in the centre of the track which is often an unfavoured part of Cork’s straight course. He came home in front of the other six to race in that group but was only fifth of 20 overall.
A return to this distance on slower ground could be the sweet spot for him and from stall 10 of 15, expect Declan McDonogh to make a beeline for the stands’ rail which is often favoured in sprints at the Curragh.
Eddie Lynam is a master with sprinters and if this relatively new recruit finds any improvement, he can outrun his odds.
13:25 Curragh - Tina’s Indian @ 8/11
Another one who is going to appreciate the slow conditions at the Curragh on Sunday is Tina’s Indian.
He ran a cracker coming back from a four-month absence at Naas last month when beaten roughly two lengths and that was his first outing since a gelding procedure.
It’s fair to assume that there will be more to come from this lightly raced four-year-old and connections have found a good opportunity for him here, coming out well at the weights given that he’s clear on the ratings.
14:30 Curragh - Chally Chute @ 5/4
This looks like a cracking renewal of the Curragh’s feature race, the Group 3 Loughbrown Stakes and one who has to be of interest is the course and distance Cesarewitch runner-up, Chally Chute.
He was very unlucky not to win the big pot last time out and even slower ground is fine for him. That was just his second start for new connections and there ought to be more to come.
15:20 Cork - Big Debates @ 11/1
The Cork Grand National is the feature contest on their card and Big Debates finds himself 5lb lower than when he finished a four-length fourth in last year’s renewal.
He subsequently went on to win at Limerick’s Christmas meeting and has come in for some lenient treatment from the assessor subsequently, despite some fair runs in defeat.
He bolted up in his prep run over timber at Navan last month and he’s versatile with regards to conditions so he looks like a solid each-way play in the race.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £420 for your total £7.50 stake.
