Lucky 15 Tips: Crackerjacque ready for success at Fontwell

Day three of Cheltenham's November Meeting is the main dish among a trio of Sunday cards across Britain and Ireland. The Greatwood Hurdle is the feature at Cheltenham, while at Navan they host the Troytown Chase on a high-quality card and Fontwell stages the Southern National Handicap Chase on their offering.

Below are my Lucky 15 tips for Sunday's feast of jumps action.

12:57 Fontwell - Crackerjacque @ 10/11

Trainer Anthony Honeyball unleashes a new hurdling recruit in CRACKERJACQUE in this novices' contest over two-and-a-quarter miles and he looks well placed to make a winning start over jumps with Rex Dingle on board.

He won a Class 2 Sandown bumper on heavy ground on his second start in February and won it in good style with a couple of dual subsequent winners in behind.

Connections thought enough of him to head for Aintree and their Grade 2 bumper at the Grand National meeting but he was well held, perhaps finding the good ground at the Merseyside venue a bit lively on the day.

There will be some give underfoot for this hurdling bow and he's fancied to make a winning start.

13:45 Cheltenham - Kim Roque @ 9/2

Joseph O'Brien has picked out this Bottlegreen Novices' Limited Handicap Chase on the Cheltenham card as a starting point for French recruit KIM ROQUE, a new instalment at his yard that will turn out in the colours of owner Ronnie Bartlett now.

The five-year-old has some promising form over fences in his native France and is already a winner there in this code.

He may well improve his lot further with his new trainer and he's lightly raced with potential for more. He's one of two interesting continental recruits for the Irish handler on the card and can go well.

14:20 Cheltenham - Cabhfuilfungi @ 15/2

The heavy rains that have battered Cheltenham since Friday will be welcomed by Kerry Lee and connections of CABHFUILFUNGI.

He posted figures of 22U122 in six attempts last season over fences and his form after the turn of the year was all on soft/heavy going, including a wide margin Southwell success on New Year's Day.

His runner-up finishes at Chepstow and Bangor afterwards are decent in terms of how the form worked out and he is returning from an unchanged mark now having shown the ability to go well fresh in the past.

15:52 Fontwell - Green Asset @ 17/2

GREEN ASSET is a three-year-old taking on older horses and the Mickey Bowen-trained runner could be set for a breakthrough success in this Class 5 Novices' Limited Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell.

He has run with credit in recent starts at Fakenham (2m4f, good/good to soft) during October and has offered some hope he can go in soon.

He was given plenty to do from the rear last time and came through to take third spot in a small field and is of interest getting his allowances in a race where lots of the runners – with the exception of Atlantic Power – are easy to pick holes in.

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £942 for your total £7.50 stake.
