Lucky 15 Tips: Chance these four on Monday

Despite a perfect start, with Lazare de Star bolting up at Leopardstown, there was no joy from Sunday's Lucky 15. Galopin Des Champs was denied by one in the Savills Chase and the other two selections finished out the back of the TV.
Better luck next time, I hope, as I've got another four fancies for you to consider on Monday.
Lucky 15 Tips - Monday, December 29

12:12 Leopardstown - Jalon d'Oudairies @ 5/2
I think JALON D'OUDAIRIES bumped into a Cheltenham Festival contender in Sortudo on hurdling debut at Cork last month, and he's entitled to take a major step forward at Leopardstown on Monday.
Gordon Elliott's six-year-old son of No Risk At All was off the track for 620 days, since finishing third in the 2024 Champion Bumper, heading into Mallow at a time when the yard's novices were badly in need of a run.
He travelled well and jumped soundly, but was no match for the winner when push came to shove.
It's a good field he's asked to put away 36 days later, but he's a class act, should appreciate the step up in trip and his trainer is going great guns. There's lots to like.
12:54 Kelso - Burncourt Boy @ 17/2
Up at Kelso, all eyes are going to be on Tashkan - a 115-rated stayer on the flat who made a winning start over hurdles at Hexham earlier this month - in the novice event over 2m6½f.
Brian Ellison's seven-year-old is of obvious interest, but the fact is it was a modest race he won in Northumberland by just half a length. Unless he improves significantly, he might find this difficult under a seven-pound penalty.
Olly Murphy's Burncourt Boy receives 10 pounds in total, which could be the difference if the five-year-old son of Shirocco can return to the form of his fifth at Carlisle in early November.
He was very disappointing at Newbury afterwards, but I'm chancing he bounces back.
13:29 Kelso - They're Chancers @ 7/4
Speaking of, THEY'RE CHANCERS is worth a stab in this two-mile maiden hurdle at the same venue.
It looks a bit of a match between Nicky Richards' five-year-old and They Want Me for Donald McCain.
The latter finished second to Idaho Sun, winner of the Grade 1 Formby Novices' Hurdle at Aintree on Boxing Day, on hurdling debut at Bangor last month, so he's sure to attract support.
However, he was 11 lengths behind and the winner didn't get off the bridle. I think it's naive to take that form literally. The third-placed Count Adhemar has a poor CV.
Despite lacking fitness and experience, the selection - a half-brother to Irish Gold Cup hero Edwulf who fetched €70k as a store back in June 2023 - wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to take this.
15:35 Newbury - Guard The Moon @ 3/1
Finally, it's GUARD THE MOON in the last at Newbury.
Nigel & Willy Twison-Davies' seven-year-old was a fairly smart hurdler, but it looks as if he might be even better over the bigger obstacles after the seven-year-old's victory on chase debut at Aintree earlier on in the month.
He beat Anthony Honeyball's Kdeux Saint Fray, winner of a competitive heat at Cheltenham's November Meeting previously, by three lengths on Merseyside and the rest of the field were trailing by over seven.
He's up seven pounds, but I don't think that's unfair. This arguably isn't as strong of a race, either. I'm expecting a bold show.
If all four selections won at the quoted prices, a 50p win Lucky 15 would return around £442 for a £7.50 total stake.
