Lucky 15 Tips: Kasino can hit the jackpot at Kempton

We have just the two meetings to look forward to in Britain on Monday and there is no racing in Ireland on the day either.
The Flat season has now come to an end so Jump racing takes centre stage. Carlisle starts us off in the early afternoon and Kempton gets underway just 15 minutes later.
Here we take a look at four of our stronger fancies who can be combined to form a Lucky 15.

13:30 Kempton - Kasino Des Mottes @ 7/4
Joe Tizzard’s KASINO DES MOTTES had two starts in Irish points, finishing fourth on debut before winning very nicely at the second time of asking. He was then purchased for a six-figure sum and expectations will be high with that in mind.
Making his rules debut in a Class 2 novice hurdle at Cheltenham last month, he was still towards the rear of the field with three flights to go but showed some promise when keeping on to finish fifth.
This looks like a much easier task and he should be sharper this time around, with the benefit of having that previous run under his belt.
13:45 Carlisle - Always A Reason @ 11/2
Handicaps can make a big difference to some horses and that appears to be the case with Rebecca Menzies’ thoroughly unexposed sort ALWAYS A REASON. He showed next to nothing in his first three starts and was beaten by a combined total of 106 lengths.
It was a completely different story on handicap debut at Hexham in March, however, when he produced a much more promising display. Finishing fifth of 10 that day, he was much more competitive and has been dropped a further 2lb since.
Menzies’ gelding is entitled to continue on an upward trajectory and a big run could be on the cards if he manages to do so here.
14:15 Carlisle - Steel Ally @ 13/8
Sam Thomas is in red-hot form at the moment, with five winners from his nine runners in the last fortnight and STEEL ALLY could be set to add to that tally.
Very talented on his day over hurdles, he ran a cracker to finish second in the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle. This horse is adaptable with regards to trip, having won over 1m7f and 2m3f, so a stiff two miles won’t be a problem.
There are some chase winners in the family, so the switch to fences should be fine and it’s entirely possible that the best is yet to come from him.
14:30 Kempton - Idy Wood @ 9/2
IDY WOOD is relatively lightly raced for his age and has still only had eight starts over hurdles. He has three wins and three placed efforts to his name and therefore tends to run his race more often than not.
Trainer Jamie Snowden is in excellent form at the moment and that certainly bodes well for Idy Wood’s chances.
The first of his three hurdles wins came in a Fontwell novice back in October 2023 and he went in again under a penalty at Plumpton the following January.
This son of Coastal Path won a Class 3 at Uttoxeter on his seasonal reappearance and was far from disgraced when fourth in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow a month later.
Running off the same mark here, he should have every chance in this easier race.
Odds are likely to fluctuate between time of publication and the races. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £XX for your total £7.50 stake.
