Lucky 15 Tips: Heading to Skelton-land and Warwick on Friday

Warwick is our destination for Friday's Lucky 15 tips. Their seven-race card kicks in at 14:05 and local giants 'Team Skelton' could be in for a big day.

14:05 - Scudamore @ 11/4

A famous surname in National Hunt racing, and this equine version is a nine-year-old gelding by 2000 Guineas winner Dawn Approach.

Trained by Jennie Candlish in Staffordshire, Scudamore is a four-from-30 dual purpose campaigner with three of those four wins coming on the level.

He's now down to a mark of 94, and off a pound higher failed by just 3l when last seen 16 days ago at around this fairly extreme hurdling trip (3m 2f today).

He's known the heights of 106 earlier in his career and his amateur Mr Edward Vaughan gets a first sit, though he's ridden for Jennie before. Open heat, decent chance.

15:35 - Kenzoko @ 10/3

Robbie Dunne gets to ride this Olly Murphy-trained six-year-old with Sean Bowen in action at Ffos Las, but to be fair Robbie has ridden him in two of his six career starts to date.

Kenzoko won last time out at Uttoxeter in his second handicap off 100, and he's up just 3lb for that. Olly's not reaching out for a claimer to offset the rise, and the selection is definitely on an upward curve form-wise.

Nice chance in an open-looking affair.

16:05 - Harry Bright @ 7/4

Team Skelton time - and a six-year-old gelding by St Leger winner Milan.

Harry Bright has yet to score in eight starts but gets a little class drop here which might make all the difference. Dan trains about 15 miles away and it goes without saying is very potent at his local track.

Nice little break of 51 days after a poor run here, but that was over 3m 2f. He looked better the time before over 2m 7f at Market Rasen (beaten 1.25l), and tries 2m 3f this afternoon.

Evidently not one of the stable's brightest lights but this looks a plausible opportunity to register a first success.

17:05 - Jollie Dame @ 9/4

We're siding with the brothers once again and their twice-raced five-year-old bumper mare Jollie Dame.

She's another class-dropper, having contested a Listed race last time at Market Rasen, fading and being 16.5l adrift at the finish. This humble heat should be well within compass and the only fear I harbour is that the O'Neill entry, unraced (Davita Blaze), might be a danger.

Otherwise it looks like the Skeltons have found an ideal opportunity to break her duck.
