Lucky 15 Tips: Having a lovely time at Bangor on Friday

We don't showcase Bangor-on-Dee as much as we might, but the Welsh venue stages a seven-race card on Friday (from 13:25) and a quick glance at some of the heats reveals names like Sean Bowen, Harry Skelton, Charlie Deutsch, Gavin Sheehan - I could go on.
I've been on many occasions, enjoying the grassy banks and lovely countryside 'feel.' Should be a blast.

14:25 - Four Springs @ 10/11
Trainer Ben Pauling and jockey Ben Jones are having a season they'll not forget in a hurry. They combine here with Four Springs, a five-year-old gelding who after winning his point last May has had two excellent novice hurdle runs, winning one and placing third in the other.
He looks progressive, and after his latest close-up run on Boxing Day (beaten 4.25l), had a wind procedure in early January. For me he's got the best form going into this and if the breathing tweak works nicely he's got to have a terrific chance here.
14:57 - Solid Performer @ 15/2
Famous silks now of the Hemmings Racing outfit, recalling the late Trevor's superstar, much-decorated stayers like Hedgehunter and Many Clouds.
Solid Performer is an eight-year-old gelding by Sholokhov, trained by Donald McCain, and ridden by Brian Hughes. Point win on his first run in April; then two promising hurdle runs either side of the new year, the latest of which was at Ayr 35 days ago.
Our selection finished third, beaten 13l, and will have continued to learn about the game and what's required. On this third outing over timber in similar maiden company he can hopefully take a hand in the finish and go extremely close.
15:30 - Voodoo Angel @ 9/4
Talking about famous colours, our next fancy runs in the livery of Red Rum Racing 1 - carrying the silks of the greatest Grand National horse of all time, Red Rum, he of three wins and two seconds fame in the great race back in the 1970s.
Voodoo Angel is unsurprisingly trained in Cheshire by Donald McCain, son and namesake of Donald 'Ginger' McCain who handled Rummy so expertly back in the day. Promising 5lb claimer Charlie Maggs has the riding assignment.
His last two runs have been the best of his life, and after finishing second in both looks a proverbial winner waiting to happen. Maggs was in the plate the last day at Catterick just a week ago where he was thwarted by 1.5l and it was a further 7l back to the third.
Nap material in my book.
16:05 - He's Bresilian @ 13/8
Another in-form type is He's Bresilian, a handicap hurdler with one win from seven starts over timber, achieved on his outing before last at Newcastle in mid-December.
That was a maiden, and he went on to make his handicap debut at this level at Ayr 24 days ago, finishing a good second just 1.75l adrift. The six-year-old gelding is up 2lb for that but I don't see that as a big deal.
Sean Quinlan rides for trainer Jedd O'Keefe, and in my view he's the one they've all got to beat.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £212 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
