Lucky 15 Tips: Crystal Spring to score under champion jockey

There are four Sunday race meetings across Britain and Ireland, with the Irish 1000 Guineas card taking centre stage at the Curragh, alongside a trio of jumps offerings in the UK.
It’s the second Classic race of the weekend at the Curragh, with the Irish 1000 Guineas one of two Group 1s, while National Hunt meetings in Britain come from Fontwell, Uttoxeter and Kelso.
Lucky 15 Tips - Sunday, May 25
15:13 Uttoxeter – Crystal Spring @ 10/3
Dan Skelton's Ludlow winner Service Minimum has solid follow-up claims here, while hurdles newcomers Fresh As A Daisy and Tennessee Orange are respected from good sources.
All three, though, are conceding weight to Stuart Edmunds' filly CRYSTAL SPRING, a daughter of Crystal Ocean.
She shaped with some promise in a trio of bumpers and then went well at Fakenham (2m4f, good) this month on her first attempt over jumps.
She was second there behind a rival with hurdling experience, the pair a long way clear of everything else, and should have gleaned plenty from the experience.
There is likely to be improvement to come and the weight she's getting, allied to the presence of champion jockey Sean Bowen in the plate now, makes her an appealing candidate.
15:23 Kelso – Wee Alki @ 3/1
Susan Corbett's WEE ALKI remains a maiden after seven starts over hurdles but it is surely only a matter of time before the six-year-old gets his win.
He has been consistent this spring, going close at Carlisle over 2m3½f in February and then taking the step up in trip well with good efforts at the same venue, as well as shining at Perth and here since.
He was denied a nose behind Our Girl Sal over 3m2f (good) here 18 days ago in a cracker-jack four-way dive for the line. He's just 1lb higher now and has first-time cheekpieces added in his quest to get on the scoresheet.
16:43 Fontwell – Jack Sparrow Grey @ 13/8
Gary & Josh Moore will be content with the progress JACK SPARROW GREY is making over fences and he can maintain his perfect start at Fontwell.
The six-year-old scored here over track and trip in April on his chasing bow, despite a bad mistake at the third-last knocking him back and forcing him to really dig deep.
This month he doubled up in much more straightforward fashion under Caoilin Quinn, jumping well and putting the race to bed with little fuss. He is lightly-raced and his latest 7lb rise shouldn't prevent a Fontwell hat-trick
17:25 Curragh – Mittens @ 15/8
A mile-and-a-quarter maiden brings down the curtain on the Guineas Festival at the Curragh and Jessica Harrington can sign off by scoring with MITTENS.
The Night Of Thunder filly was second at Naas on her debut four weeks ago. She showed signs of greenness in the home straight and was also short of racing room at a stage, before rallying well for a never-nearer second behind a Dermot Weld-contender that had previous experience in solid company.
Mittens can get her hands on this prize under Shane Foley before, in all probability, moving on to bigger and brighter things.

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £335 for your total £7.50 stake.
