Lucky 15 Tips: Chelmsford attracts some top-drawer jocks

My companion ITV live racing piece covers eleven of Friday's heats from Newcastle, Lingfield and a solitary contest from Chelmsford, which covers most bases on Friday, April 18.
However - there are plenty of cracking, competitive heats over the rest of the Essex card so let's find three from there to accompany the one I've already highlighted in my ITV spot for our Lucky 15 tips. First race at Chelmsford is 13:40, and there are a stupendous eight of them.
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, April 18
Chelmsford
13:40 - Charlie Mason @ 4/1
Tom Marquand is a great booking for this hugely-experienced and tough campaigner.
Charlie Mason is a four-year-old Mayson gelding who won on the turf at Leicester a fortnight ago off 68. He's only been nudged up 2lb and is tremendously consistent.
That win was over 6f and this is at the minimum of 5f - but it's a tough old slog to the line and that extra bit of stamina could be absolutely vital this afternoon. Thirty-two career starts have yielded four wins so far but he's been placed many, many times too.
Every chance in an open-looking affair.
14:15 - Christmas Gift @ 11/4
I don't take too much persuading to have a little interest in an Andrew Balding-trained newcomer, especially when RL Moore is engaged to do the steering. Christmas Gift is a three-year-old No Nay Never filly out of a War Front mare - bags of speed then in the pedigree, and one has to hope that 7f will prove to be within compass first time out.
Some good yards are represented and it should be a little cracker.
14:50 - Split Elevens @ 8/1
Tom Marquand again, this time for John Butler (7f handicap, Class 6).
Split Elevens is a modest seven-year-old gelding but the owner of a terrific 12 wins from 71 starts record, given that he's only ever been a low-grade handicapper.
He last won in February, same trip/grade, at Kempton off a mark of 59, and he was only nudged up 2lb for that. He's run twice off his revised spot of 61 since, including a neck second last time 17 days ago at Wolves, so he's obviously still competitive (same today, 61).
He's run well at this track before, and what a credit he is to connections - 71 not out and in with every chance again this afternoon, especially with the brilliant Marquand engaged.
16:30 - Sky Majesty @ 10/11
I've previewed this one as part of my reflections on all 11 races covered LIVE by the ITV cameras on Good Friday - please take a look by kindly clicking HERE.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £410 for your total £7.50 stake.
