Horse Racing Tips: Time to learn a Secret Handsheikh

It's a relatively quiet day on Wednesday, with two afternoon Flat fixtures in Britain followed by a twilight card from Hamilton and an evening meeting under the lights from Kempton.
Lingfield hosts a bumper nine-race card on the AW, the action getting underway at 13:35 and concluding at 17:35, accompanied by a seven-race card from Bath (14:20 to 17:25). Amongst our Wednesday fancies is one for trainer Ralph Beckett, who looks a well handicapped horse, despite a 5lb rise for last month’s Doncaster win.

15:50 Bath - Secret Handsheikh @ 11/4
John Gallagher’s SECRET HANDSHEIKH has a good record at this time of year and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to supplement last month’s course win off a 2lb higher mark.
The seven-year-old relishes undulating tracks, winning numerous times at Brighton, twice at Bath and once at Chepstow, and has an overall record of three wins from nine starts during the month of September.
He’s versatile in terms of underfoot conditions, his wins coming on surfaces ranging from soft to firm, so any deterioration from the current good description is of no concern.
He kept on nicely for third in a much stronger race than this at Sandown last week and he should have the edge on Some Nightmare, who is probably at his most effective at Chepstow.

16:20 Bath - Perfect Your Craft @ 9/4
PERFECT YOUR CRAFT was made to work pretty hard for her win on handicap debut at Doncaster, but she had previous winners back in second and fourth and the third has won twice since, giving the form a rock solid look to it.
The Ralph Beckett-trained filly has now won two of her three starts, her only defeat coming when favourite for a Listed race at Goodwood in May, and yet may still make up into a Pattern race type, having earned a Racing Post Rating of 94 when defying an official mark of 82 at Doncaster six weeks ago.
A 5lb rise to 87 looks on the lenient side and her yard has an impressive 26 percent strike-rate with its runners at Bath over the past five seasons (5-19).

17:05 Lingfield - Nahy @ 12/1
Jack Morland has made a bright start to his training career and the Newmarket-based handler can get on the scoresheet at Lingfield on Wednesday, courtesy of stable debutant, NAHY.
The selection showed fair form in three starts over a variety of trips on the All-Weather for Andrew Balding, including on Polytrack at Kempton when he ran a career-high Racing Post Rating of 73.
A 525,000gns yearling, he changed hands for only 7,500gns in May and has since been gelded. Fitness has to be taken on trust on this first outing since February, but he’s starting out on a workable official mark of 73 and has the potential for improvement now that a first-time hood is added.
