Horse Racing Tips: Royal Ascot winner is the one to beat in Killarney’s feature

There's a little something for everyone on offer across the day on Wednesday, with six meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland, and a mix of Flat and National Hunt action. Catterick gets us underway with a Flat card, Bath and the sole National Hunt fixture of the day from Uttoxeter complete the afternoon entertainment. Lingfield, Yarmouth and Killarney take us through the evening and the latter track hosts a Listed contest.
We have three strong fancies to follow across the evening and among them is an impressive Royal Ascot winner for Joseph O'Brien in Killarney's Cairn Rouge Stakes. Read on for my horse racing tips.

18:40 Yarmouth - Dion Baker @ 7/2
Yarmouth's feature race is a competitive-looking Class 4 handicap over 7f and Michael Wigham runs the bang in-form DION BAKER. The seven-year-old has been incredibly prolific this season, already landing five victories and there could be more to come.
His first win of the season came at Brighton when he went on to score by just shy of three lengths. Victories at Bath and Brighton followed, before his winning streak was ended by defeat over this trip three starts ago against an impressive opponent.
Clearly that wasn't a case of being caught by the handicapper as he scored over course and distance earlier this month. An extra 4lb wouldn't have prevented him from coming out on top last week, so he should be capable of winning again before the handicapper catches up.

19:00 Killarney - Green Carrera @ 9/4
Joseph O'Brien is having a stellar campaign, highlighted by an excellent Royal Ascot, where he landed five winners. One of those came in the Sandringham Stakes and he prepared GREEN CARRERA to perfection and she was very impressive.
She got off the mark in a mile maiden at Thurles back in October and made a solid start to the season when second in a 7f handicap at the Curragh in May. Returning to winning ways back over a mile next time, she showed a good attitude to score by a short head that day.
It's no surprise that the daughter of Lope De Vega was well-fancied at Royal Ascot, and she won that fiercely competitive race with plenty in hand.
The winning margin probably doesn't reflect the ease of her success and she looks up to winning at this level.

19:20 Lingfield - Desert Shadow @ 10/3
Saaed Bin Suroor hasn't had too many runners in the last fortnight, but one of his two representatives was a winner, and he is represented by the relatively consistent performer DESERT SHADOW, who can get the job done here.
This lightly raced four-year-old is yet to get off the mark but most of his efforts have indicated that he's capable of doing so.
It's worth noting that he was first past the post at Beverley last summer, although he was subsequently demoted to second on that occasion.
Classic Encounter got the better of him at Redcar last time out but there's a 4lb swing in his favour this time around and that should enable him to turn the tables.
Sean Levey is an eye-catching jockey booking and he deserves to get his head in front.
