Horse Racing Tips: Relax and believe in Stressfree

There are six meetings set to take place across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, the highlight being the first day of York's three-day Dante Festival.
Among our Wednesday horse racing tips is one for trainer David O'Meara on the Knavesmire, who shaped as if a return to winning ways was just around the corner on last month’s seasonal reappearance.

14:20 York - Stressfree @ 6/1
David O'Meara tends to target these big meetings at York and he'll be hopeful that STRESSFREE can build on what was an arguably unlucky defeat at Ripon on last month’s seasonal reappearance.
The six-year-old, a five-time winner from 32 starts, met with traffic problems around 2f out when attempting to make ground from the rear at Ripon 18 days ago, but picked up strongly when in the clear to finish a never-nearer second.
Beaten only a head in this corresponding race last season, he’s now 7lb higher, but he ran to a Racing Post Rating of 107 at Ripon and most certainly shouldn’t be underestimated in a race that should be run to suit.

15:18 Yarmouth - Dubai Charm @ 6/5
Richard Hughes is making great strides as a trainer, the former three-time Champion Jockey already well placed for his best season to date, and he looks set for another winner courtesy of DUBAI CHARM in this fillies' maiden.
The daughter of first-season sire Blackbeard shaped with a ton of promise when runner-up on her introduction at Nottingham at the end of last month, rallying strongly inside the final furlong after running green and getting outpaced at halfway.
She will likely appreciate 7f before long, but she's the only one in this field with previous racecourse experience and that may well prove key.

15:30 York - Cool Hoof Luke @ 15/2
Andrew Balding's COOL HOOF LUKE, who won the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes over this course-and-distance in August 2024, has looked arguably better than ever since returning from injury this year and should give a good account.
The four-year-old colt, who had three subsequent Group 1 winners behind him when winning at this venue as a juvenile, has recorded back-to-back Racing Post Ratings of 111 on the AW following a lengthy absence, most recently when landing the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes over 7f at Wolverhampton in March.
He won't be at all inconvenienced by a return to sprinting and represents decent each-way value in an open race.
