There are five meetings set to take place across the UK and Ireland on a busy Tuesday. Jumps action comes from Fontwell and Warwick, while they go on the Flat at Beverley and Kempton (AW) in Britain, along with the latest offering from the Listowel Harvest Festival in Co Kerry.

Amongst our trio of fancies for Tuesday's action is La Boo for the Michael & David Easterby yard at Beverley after a near miss last time.

  • 15:55 Beverley - La Boo @ 9/1

Today's Horse Races

15:30 Warwick - Get Up Mush @ 15/8

The Skelton brothers are a formidable team at Warwick, where trainer Dan has saddled 63 winners from 311 runners over the last five seasons for a 20 per cent strike-rate.

Former champion jockey Harry has partnered plenty of those winners and he rides GET UP MUSH for the yard in the Weatherbys Stallion Book Handicap Chase.

The six-year-old had figures of 121 in his first three starts over fences, all of those coming at Uttoxeter over 2m4f/2m5f in June and July.

He needed every yard of the trip for the second of his wins at the Midlands venue and appeared to get outpaced since at Newton Abbot (2m5f, good) towards the end of August as he finished fourth off this mark.

The rise in trip takes him beyond three miles now and can bring about further improvement and a third success over these obstacles.

15:45 Listowel - Kayhana @ 14/1

Listed fare from Ireland comes via the Edmund & Josie Whelan Memorial Listowel Stakes as the week-long Harvest Festival continues at Co Kerry circuit.

There is €24,000 on offer for the winner and the likes of once-raced Bomberg and Mundo for Aidan O'Brien are likely contenders, albeit Ryan Moore deserts the Limerick maiden winner in favour of the more experienced Ballydoyle contender now.

Fleur De Chine for Jessica Harrington and Princess Child for Joseph O'Brien are also shortlisted, but perhaps Dermot Weld's KAYHANA can take the step forward required.

The Harzand filly has shown her best form at a mile or close to it and she may not have been suited, therefore, when dropping to 7f at the Curragh for a major handicap in June or for a Listed contest at the Galway Festival at the start of August.

She didn't run badly in either instance and, back from a short break, has scope for better in this grade now racing beyond a mile for the first time. She can outrun forecast double-figure odds in the Aga Khan silks.

15:45 Listowel - Winner Kayhana

15:55 Beverley - La Boo @ 9/1

Joanna Mason last week reached a significant milestone in riding her 100th winner for her grandfather, Mick Easterby, and more success could be pending for them at Beverley with LA BOO in the Biffa Area 1 Handicap.

The Land Force filly is now an 11-race maiden, but her latest offering at Redcar (5f, good to firm) was as close as she has come, finishing three parts of a length off the winner in fifth in a really bunched finish.

She was keen early but raced handily and the La Boo showed a good attitude late on, having been headed as she rallied strongly close to the winning line and gained on the front quartet.

This is an Extra Place Race so Betfred will be paying 4 Places (1/5 Odds) instead of 3.
