Horse Racing Tips: Moore to make punters Happy on Tuesday

There's a total of six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with three afternoon fixtures followed by as many evening cards.
Among my horse racing tips for the day is a well-bred and well-entered filly for trainer Roger Varian, who looked to have a bright future ahead of her when winning readily on her debut.
Horse Racing Tips - 12 May 2026
- 16:00 Beverley - Without Flaw @ 6/1
- 16:45 Hereford - Ice Jet @ 1/1
- 17:50 Lingfield - Always Happy @ 8/13
*odds correct at time of publication
16:00 Beverley - Without Flaw @ 6/1
This is arguably the most competitive race on Tuesday’s Beverley’s card, but Tina Jackson’s WITHOUT FLAW arrives on the back of an encouraging comeback run behind the reopposing Glory Hyde at Wetherby and is taken to enhance his excellent record at this track.
The five-year-old, who pressed the leaders until deep inside the final furlong when finishing third last month, has won two of his four visits to this venue, both of those victories coming in July last year, the most recent of which came off this mark of 59.
Usually ridden up with the pace, he’s ideally drawn in stall two and looks poised for a big run under Warren Fentiman, who was aboard for the second of last season’s course-and-distance wins.

16:45 Hereford - Ice Jet @ 1/1
Dan and Harry Skelton have made a bright start to this month and they look set for another winner courtesy of four-year-old ICE JET at Hereford.
The selection, a fair sort of maiden on the Flat up to 1m6f, appeared set to make a winning return from wind surgery on his handicap debut at Wetherby last time, but made a Horlicks of the second-last and went down by a neck under Tristan Durrell.
He’s frustratingly gone up 7lb for that defeat to 92, but he’s open to plenty more improvement and will be in receipt of a handy weight-for-age allowance.
His stable has won the last two runnings of this corresponding race with Manlala and Our Lil, the latter a similarly lightly-raced four-year-old.

17:50 Lingfield - Always Happy @ 8/13
Ryan Moore heads to Lingfield on Tuesday evening for two rides, perhaps most significantly for the Roger Varian-trained ALWAYS HAPPY, who runs in the famous dark blue silks of Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrik Smith.
The three-year-old got off the mark at the first attempt at Southwell in March, the daughter of Siyouni justifying slight odds-on favouritism under Rowan Scott on that occasion, having travelled strongly throughout.
She’s got a 7lb penalty to contend with this time, but she’s a real standout on breeding and could be a pattern-class performer in the making.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
