Horse Racing Tips: Lady can get lucky at Lingfield

There are three Flat cards in Britain on Tuesday and the meeting at Lingfield, which begins with three races on the all-weather before concluding with three on the turf, is where we have concentrated our attention.
We provide wagers for the three all-weather races on the card at Lingfield.

14:30 Lingfield - Polar Rebel @ 5/1
Charlie Clover burst on to the scene when his Flowerhead finished an excellent second at 150/1 in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, and the in-form trainer, who has won with three of his past ten runners, can keep up the good work with Polar Rebel in the 7f apprentice handicap that opens the card at Lingfield.
Good apprentice jockey Connor Planas takes the ride and Polar Rebel is back after producing a promising stable debut for Clover at Windsor recently, staying on well for third over the 6f distance after failing to go the pace earlier in proceedings.
That was comfortably her best performance in five career starts and she is entitled to improve for that run considering it was her first in 11 months.
Polar Rebel gets the extra furlong she craves off the same mark at Lingfield and she can break her duck in a weak race against opposition who are largely exposed.

15:00 Lingfield - Gilet @ 8/1
Gilet usually contests stronger races than the following 7f handicap at Lingfield and he can capitalise on a drop in class.
There have been excuses for the Warren Greatrex-trained three-year-old the last twice. He wasn’t seen to best effect on rain-softened ground over a mile at Glorious Goodwood when inconvenienced by the way the race panned out, while the time before he sat close enough to a strong pace at Sandown before fading out of contention.
Essentially, this son of Coulsty has been coming up short in good handicaps against less exposed sorts with top pedigrees hailing from some of Flat racing’s premier yards.
An ease in grade should prove just the ticket, as should the return to 7f as he hasn’t convinced as the strong stayer over a mile.
He brings all-weather form figures of 2212 to the table from this two-year-old campaign and this looks a shrewd piece of placing by Greatrex.

15:32 Lingfield - Lady Lucky Vegas @ 4/1
Richard Newland and Jamie Insole picked up a first Group 2 success on the Flat with Witness Stand in the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood recently, and Lady Lucky Vegas is seemingly well regarded by her trainers, whose runners are often underestimated.
She can land the 5f novice later at Lingfield.
Lady Lucky Vegas opened up at big prices for a decent-looking fillies’ maiden over 6f at Newmarket’s July meeting on her debut, and the market support continued before the off as she returned an SP of 15/2, having been 14/1 on the opening show.
Missing the break at Newmarket lit her up and she couldn’t get involved, but the form is working out nicely with the third landing a handicap off 76 next time and the runner-up running a solid race behind the smart Princess Petrol at Ascot.
This is a much weaker race (the best filly on BHA figures is only rated 62) and Lady Lucky Vegas, who is speedily bred on the dam’s side and will have learned from her introduction, gives the impression a positive ride over the minimum trip will help her.
