Horse Racing Tips: Fahrenheit Seven to bounce back at Hamilton

There’s a good mix of Flat and Jump racing taking place across Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with six meetings across the afternoon and into the evening.
Among our horse racing tips for Thursday is one for trainer Mark Usher who will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing race last time out.

15:42 Hamilton - Fahrenheit Seven each-way @ 11/2
After making a strong finish to last season, FAHRENHEIT SEVEN made an earlier than expected reappearance this term, this time stepping down in trip to five furlongs on the all-weather at Newcastle.
He ran a solid race to finish third, the only question being whether he wanted a bit further as he got slightly outpaced in the closing stages. However, it was a good start to this campaign and he showed no signs that the winter break had had any ill effects.
He backed that up with an eye-catching win, this time back on the turf at Pontefract. He came on for his run to win well there and made it four wins from his last six starts.
He was stepped up in trip to seven furlongs when last seen on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket when not having the best race. He was prominent early on, but weakened in the closing stages and looked as if he did not have the stamina for the trip.
The drop back to six furlongs today seems a logical move as he has done some of his best work over the distance, and he has a strong chance to bounce back here.
With Betfred paying 3 places in this six-runner race, each-way is the recommended play.

17:25 Leopardstown - What's Your Game @ 15/2
Another who has had a strong start to this season is the Adrian Murray-trained three-year-old WHAT'S YOUR GAME. He has looked much more at home since being stepped up in trip to a mile and a half for the first time at Cork in April.
Conditions were not ideal that day, but he showed a good attitude to record his first career win on his handicap debut.
He was tried in a Listed race when last seen three weeks ago at Navan, and while he was no match for the winner he again showed a good attitude and saw out the slight step up in trip well.
The booking of jockey Colin Keane is another big positive and he has every chance of going one better here today.

19:42 Chelmsford - Kingdom Of Stars @ 11/4
KINGDOM OF STARS looks to be one who has taken a long time to come to hand, but he showed remarkable improvement last time out and it looks as though he could take another step forward here.
Having made his debut as a three-year-old in April 2024, the Tom Ward-trained gelding looked as though he had a lot to learn with a string of disappointing performances last season. He was put away after running at Kempton in July and was not seen again until last month, again at Kempton. He looked a much more composed individual on his handicap debut there, finishing a respectable fourth, with the step up in trip to two miles seemingly suiting.
He took another step forward last time out, finishing an impressive second at Kempton once more. He ran well again that day, only being headed in the closing stages where he stayed on well, and he looks to be in a good spot coming into this.
While he will now need to up his game slightly in this higher grade, the quick turnaround of only eight days since his last run is telling and connections could be wanting to strike while the iron is hot.
