Horse Racing Tips: Everything looks good at Hamilton

There’s both flat and jumps racing in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with three afternoon and four evening meetings.
I've studied the cards and come up with a few horse racing tips to consider - including a rejuvenated gelding of David O’Meara who can follow up his victory last time.

The 15mm of rain on Tuesday will have been welcome news for connections of THEORYOFEVERYTHING who posted a career-best effort last time on soft ground at Ayr.
Well-supported into 7/4 favourite for a 0-90 Class 3 handicap, Danny Tudhope let him bowl along that day, and he kept finding more under pressure to score handily from a field of decent handicappers.
Some give underfoot is not the only possible factor in this five-year-old’s improvement as that cosy success was also his second run since a wind op, and the fact he had also shown up very well on good ground on his first run since the procedure in May means he may just be an improved animal.
He didn’t make his debut until he was a three-year-old, and was then second in the Greenham on his second start, and there must be a decent chance that this son of a Group One-winning dam can rate a bit higher yet.

15:55 Hamilton - Yorkshire Lady @ 20/1
The following race can go the way of Mick and David Easterby’s YORKSHIRE LADY, who knows how to win and can be expected to improve on her two outings so far this season.
After a poor first run of the year - she was sent off at 66/1 in a Class 3 contest at Ripon and duly plugged on into a never-nearer seventh, beaten by seven-and-a-half lengths - she has since won twice and been second once on her third start after a long break.
The return to a Class 4 is very much in her favour as she has won three and been second four times from 11 starts in the grade.
Joanna Mason has ridden her to success five times and from a mark now just 1lb higher than when narrowly beaten at York last October she looks to have every chance.

20:05 Epsom - Mafnood @ 7/1
George Baker’s MAFNOOD has only ever won one race but has run plenty of others well in defeat and can notch his second victory in this 7f Class 4.
Having never run here for previous trainer Richard Hannon, the four-year-old has shown a definite liking for Epsom’s quirks in two outings this season for new and now-local trainer George Baker.
He looked like he was going to collect on his first start for the yard when just finding one-mile and-half-a-furlong too far here in April, and then couldn’t quite get to grips with a better-positioned three-year-old rival last time over today’s course and distance.
He again showed how well he handled the track last time, and with no younger horses to contend with on Thursday he can get back on the scoresheet.
