Jump racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Sunday with five meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening.

First off is Naas before they go at Kelso, Warwick, Limerick and Southwell and among our Sunday fancies is one for trainer Warren Greatrex who was picked up for €62,000 recently and could prove to be a shrewd purchase.

TACTICAL AFFAIR was one of 29 horses previously owned by Andy and Gemma Brown to sell at the sales as part of a dispersal sale following their decision to give up on the sport, and the selection is now trained by Warren Greatrex.

Formerly trained by Gordon Elliott, the five-year-old was picked up for €62,000, which could turn out to be a good piece of business by new owners Jim and Claire Limited.

Lightly raced with just five runs under rules to his name, Tactical Affair disappointed on his final start for Elliott at Clonmel in January, but he has some form in the book which should make him very hard to beat in this company.

Fifth to subsequent dual Grade 1-placed Predators Gold on debut in a Punchestown bumper last season, he won a 2m maiden hurdle at Cork in November and sets a high standard in a weak looking novices' hurdle.

Trainer Jonjo O'Neill has farmed this 2m5f handicap hurdle in recent times, winning it three times in the last four years, and he holds strong credentials again this year with ZONDA, who will be ridden by Jonjo O'Neill Jr.

The six-year-old son of Martaline ran well at Ascot when fourth on his handicap debut in December over just shy of three miles, and he traded short in running when second at Wincanton last month when running over an extended 2m5f.

Zonda bumped into the well backed Hermes Boy on the day and the pair pulled well clear of the remaining runners. He is up 4lb in the weights as a result, but he seems to be progressing well and there's more to come.

Moving on to the 2m4f mares' novices' chase, it looks like a golden opportunity for the Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero runner ANTI BRIDGIE to find her way back to the winner's enclosure.

Twice a winner over hurdles, she ran in a 0-140 handicap at Ayr when last seen in January and finished third, but she would have finished a lot closer to the winner but for a couple of poor leaps at the latter end of the race.

Anti Bridgie won't face the same level of opposition here, and will also run against her own sex, so it looks like a nice bit of placement by connections. She should do the business.
