13:50 Sandown - Havana Hurricane @ 10/3
HAVANA HURRICANE made an impressive reappearance in a listed race at Newbury in May finishing third behind two who had already had a run this season.
What was most impressive was how he went through the gears quickly in the final two furlongs and was going quickest in the final strides and he looked set for a go at one of the big sprints at Royal Ascot.
However, he had a much more difficult time in the Commonwealth Cup last time out. He raced up the centre and never really looked on terms, getting carried left in the final furlong.
He will have to overcome the widest draw today which may be an issue as he is not always best out of the stalls and his tendency to race in the rear means that he will have to make up ground.
On the plus side he is only fifth of five, so it may not be too much of an issue. He possesses electric pace and the drop back into handicaps should help him showcase his class, so on fast ground he should go well.

15:35 Sandown - Royal Rhyme @ 5/1
At first look, ROYAL RHYME’s recent form does not look particularly inspiring finishing some way back on his three starts this season. However, on closer inspection he appears to have done well in the circumstances.
He was strong in the market but failed to deliver on his reappearance this season at the Curragh, he was coming back after 11 months off and, while he ran strongly early in the race, he faded inside the final furlong.
He was then a close fifth in the Huxley Stakes at Chester before finding absolutely no room to make a run in the Wolferton Stakes last time out.
A course and distance win in a Group 3 to his name suggests that he enjoys the track and, with a bit more luck this time around, he should get back to winning ways.

18:52 Wexford - Cinammon Roll @ 17/2
CINAMMON ROLL showed some reasonable form as a hurdler winning back-to-back novice races this time last year in impressive fashion suggesting there will be more to come from him.
However, he came unstuck in his last Novice hurdle, clearly finding it one too many ion quick succession and finished a distant sixth.
He was put away for two months and made his reappearance stepping up to three miles in September. He ran a solid race on that occasion staying on well.
However, another attempt over the marathon trip last time out appeared to be too much for him after another quick turnaround.
He has shown he has the stamina to be useful in chases and has been freshened up for this, the drop back to 2m3f here looks a good spot for him on his debut over fences.
