Precise (Aidan O'Brien/Ryan Moore) @ 9/4
Leading lady for Aidan O'Brien, who eyes his seventh victory in the race. Just the one defeat in five starts at two, completing a Grade 1 double at the end of the season in the Moyglare and Fillies' Mile. Huge chance, for all there's a concern she's not 100% after a slight setback last month.
Venetian Sun (Karl Burke/Clifford Lee) @ 5/1
Top-class juvenile who won the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot plus a Grade 2 at Newmarket over six furlongs. Beat Gstaad over the same trip at the highest level in France, before suffering her first defeat at the hands of the aforementioned Precise at the Curragh when tried over seven. Obvious claims if staying the trip.
True Love (Aidan O'Brien/Wayne Lordan) @ 13/2
Second string for Ballydoyle, but no back number. No Nay Never filly won the Queen Mary over the minimum trip at Royal Ascot, plus two races - including the G1 Cheveley Park - over six furlongs. Stepped up to seven for her reappearance at Leopardstown last month, in a Group 3, and obliged in good style. Could have more to offer over a mile. Good chance.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
My Highness (Andre Fabre/Oisin Murphy) @ 9/1
French raider adds intrigue to the Betfred 1000 Guineas. Godolphin-owned daughter of Ghaiyyath won a Group 2 at Deauville last term and warmed up for this with a highly-encouraging effort in a Group 3 over course and distance. Can't be ruled out.
The Prettiest Star (Ed Walker/Kieran Shoemark) @ 12/1
Easy winner of a modest maiden over six furlongs at Nottingham on debut in August, before going down by just half-a-length to a 92-rated rival in the G2 Rockfel Stakes over seven at Newmarket. More is needed on Sunday, but she's open to a serious amount of improvement. Interesting.
Evolutionist (Karl Burke/Shane Foley) @ 12/1
Night Of Thunder filly came up short at the higher levels at two, but won a Group 3 at Longchamp on reappearance last month. That's a very strong piece of form and Karl Burke's second string, who's clearly trained on, doesn't have all that much to find on ratings. Every chance for me.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Abashiri (Charlie Appleby/William Buick) @ 16/1
Half-sister to Grade 2-winning stablemate English Rose bolted up on debut at Kempton back in November, which remains her only start. Lacks experience and fitness, but she's clearly very talented. Connections looking ahead to the Betfred Oaks dampens enthusiasm a little. Might be better to look elsewhere.
Touleen (Owen Burrows/Saffie Osborne) @ 16/1
Looked a filly of serious potential after bolting up at Leicester in September, but the daughter of Night Of Thunder disappointed in the Rockfel at HQ later that month. She did likewise in the Fred Darling at Newbury a fortnight ago and now has something to prove. It'd be a great time to do so...
Inis Mor (David Menuisier/Sean Levey) @ 20/1
Hard to advise on her two-year-old form, but given a squeak on her fourth in the Nell Gwynn Stakes over seven furlongs at Newmarket last month. Others appeal more, though.
Rose Ghaiyyath (Richard Hughes/Billy Loughnane) @ 22/1
A winner in France on debut, before a decent effort in the Betfred May Hill Stakes at Doncaster. Wasn't beaten far and I do get the impression there's more to come. Steep ask to go and win the Betfred 1000 Guineas on Sunday, but she could hit the frame under a confident Billy Loughnane.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Azleet (Stuart Williams/Marco Ghiani) @ 33/1
Sent off 50/1 for the aforementioned Nell Gwynn, which says everything that's needed to be said about her juvenile form. Seemed to leave it all a long way behind last month, in fairness, but even if able to back it up, more is needed. Not for me.
Spicy Marg (Michael Bell/Tom Marquand) @ 40/1
Spent last season over sprint trips, so has stamina to prove. Thought enough of to take in the Nunthorpe against older rivals at York in August, but she didn't beat a single rival. Decent form in the autumn, but a fair bit off what's required to win a Betfred 1000 Guineas. Limited appeal.
Venetian Lace (Charlie Johnston/Jason Hart) @ 50/1
Runner-up to Precise in the Fillies' Mile on her last appearance. She's a huge price on that effort, but looking at the rest of her CV there's a chance the result was flattering. Nonetheless, she's a cracking each-way shout at current prices.
Timeforshowcasing (Charlie Johnston/Silvestre De Sousa) @ 50/1
Beat the boys, including a couple of Betfred 2000 Guineas also rans, in a Listed race at Newcastle last month. Warrants a level of respect on the back of that and is another who could outrun her odds.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Domina Ignis (Kevin Philippart De Foy/David Egan) @ 50/1
Just over a length behind Touleen in the Fred Darling and she was closing the gap with every stride. On that evidence, the daughter of Pinatubo, who is open to any amount of improvement on just her third outing, is well overpriced. Strong each-way appeal.
Darn Hot Gallop (James Tate/Rossa Ryan) @ 66/1
Too Darn Hot filly has around 30lbs to find on official ratings, for all she's 3-3 and has the excellent Rossa Ryan on board. Each-way claims at best.
Mubasimah (Andrew Balding/David Probert) @ 66/1
Decent form in three runs at Newmarket. Frankel filly probably has a better chance than her price suggests, but at the same time is difficult to picture as a Classic winner. Very difficult.
Silenciosa (Tom Clover/Jack Mitchell) @ 66/1
Bit of an eye-catcher behind Touleen and Domina Ingis at Newbury. However, the form of her Southwell success previously is poor. Could be a big improver, but I'm left feeling like I need to see her do it again. If anything, she's worth a couple of quid each way.
True Test (William Knight/Luke Morris) @ 200/1
Hard to advise on a single piece of form.
