There are five UK and Irish race meetings to look forward to on Tuesday and I am particularly drawn to the six-race card taking place at Ffos Las.

Check out my Ffos Las Tips below.

18:15 Ffos Las - Shetakesthegold @ 7/2

The second race of the day is a Class 6 nursery handicap over 6f and there are six runners declared for this contest. The horse with the strongest credentials is SHETAKESTHEGOLD for Richard Hannon's yard, who landed her first success on her fifth start last time out at Catterick on July 16.

This was preceded by a second out of four finish at Lingfield over the same distance earlier in the month. The two-year-old filly has shown great progress in her past two rides and she had Alec Voikhanksy on board for both of them. He is booked for Tuesday's trip at Ffos Las and this continued partnership only bolsters her claim.

None of her rivals boast a victory in their recent form records and she looks like she will be the one to beat. She lived up to her name at Catterick, and I fancy her to do the same on her first visit to Ffos Las.

18:50 Ffos Las - Cabeza De Llave @ 5/2

CABEZA DE LLAVE is one of the six runners declared for this Class 6 handicap over 5f and I think there is value to be had in this six-year-old son of Pearl Secret. He swiftly returns to Carmarthenshire less than two weeks since his last outing here over the same trip.

The gelding posted a respectable second-place finish out of seven for Michael Attwater's yard, and his trainer will be hoping he can go one step further on Tuesday. Ground conditions are looking similar for him again and he is in better form than a lot of his rivals, so he is expected to be a strong contender on this occasion.

He's without a win in his past seven starts but after back-to-back second-place finishes, he looks capable of ending his drought and he may be a shrewd selection.

20:30 Ffos Las - Queen Of Steel @ 7/4

The card concludes with this Class 6 handicap over 1m 6f and the standout candidate of this nine-horse field is QUEEN OF STEEL for Fergal O'Brien's yard. The five-year-old mare has been under O'Brien's charge since February, having previously been saddled by Mark Usher.

She has enjoyed a positive start to life with her new yard, having won five of her six starts to date, including each of the past five, two of which came over hurdles in March - here and at Wetherby.

Her past three triumphs have come on the flat, with her latest coming here at the end of June over 2m, so this reduced distance should cause no problems for her. She heads here 3lbs higher but the daughter of Nathaniel is riding a huge wave of momentum right now, and it's going to take a lot from her rivals on Tuesday to stop her.
