Epsom Downs Tips: A couple to consider on Thursday

There are six UK and Irish race meetings to sink your teeth into on Thursday but it is the action at Epsom Downs in particular that catches my eye, with a six-race card to look forward to.
Below you can check out my Epsom Downs Tips for Thursday, July 10.

19:35 Epsom - Kisskodi @ 2/1
KISSKODI is bidding to make it a hat-trick of victories when he makes his first trip to Epsom on Thursday. He was a comfortable winner at Brighton in May and he was awarded the victory at Leicester last time out as he was hampered at a crucial stage by Cindy Lou Who.
The three-year-old has been the bookies' favourite in the last two races and it's likely to be the same again here given the form he is in. Trainer Harry Eustace should be delighted with what he has seen in the last couple of months as Kisskodi is continuously showing improvements.
The gelding arrives at Epsom 3lbs heavier for this Class 4 handicap. It's another 6f trip which we know he is well-suited for and I reckon he has a great chance of making it three in a row.

20:10 Epsom - Buy The Dip @ 17/2
There are 10 runners declared for the Betfred Nifty 50 Handicap and a familiar face stands out to me in the form of BUY THE DIP. This Jim Boyle-trained gelding had my backing at Brighton last Tuesday, narrowly finishing second by a half-length.
It was yet another impressive performance from the five-year-old over a mile, and I think he's in with a chance of getting back to winning ways. He triumphed at Lingfield in a 7f race last month but he awaits to taste success over this trip.
Buy The Dip returns to Epsom for the first time in a year and I think he is looking in much better shape than he was for the fourth-place finish over 7f. He is a horse who relishes a downhill track, so connections should be optimistic with his chances on Thursday.
Consistency will once again be found in the saddle as Luke Catton is booked to ride and after two strong showings at Brighton and Lingfield, he may be the one to lead Buy The Dip to his first victory at Epsom, and a first over this distance.
