Horse Racing Tips: Beware the Warrior in Nottingham

With five meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday, there is bound to be something for every racing fan. I'm excited because it gives me plenty of options to choose from for my Daily Double selections.
My last effort a couple of weeks ago was successful as both selections landed winners. Let's hope for the same again this time. Check out my latest Horse Racing Tips below.
Horse Racing Daily Double - Wednesday, October 29

13:47 Nottingham - Westgate Warrior @ 7/4
We start off in the East Midlands where there is a seven-race card to enjoy at Nottingham. The second contest of the day has caught my eye, which is a Class 5 handicap over 5f. There are nine runners entered for this one and the one who jumps out at me is WESTGATE WARRIOR for Roy Bowring's yard.
The three-year-old gelding was off the mark at the seventh attempt which came over C&D here on his last appearance on October 15. This was preceded by a strong second-place finish at Beverley (5f) last month so he is certainly a horse on the up right now.
Further improvement can be shown at Nottingham on Wednesday by following up his triumph from two weeks ago. The going is looking softer than it was last time but he returns with momentum and I think it will help that Alistair Rawlinson will be back in the saddle for this ride.

19:30 Kempton - Pride Of Donegal @ 3/1
Evening action comes from Kempton and PRIDE OF DONEGAL is someone I have a good feeling about on Wednesday. The three-year-old colt is running in this Class 4 handicap over 1m4f for Charlie Johnston's yard.
He returns to the scene of his first success, which came on his last appearance 19 days ago, over C&D in what was his fifth attempt. Ground conditions are looking similar as they were last time, so I think this could play into his hands.
The positioning in an outside stall could pose a problem, however, but I think he is in good shape to make a strong bid for back-to-back victories here. The son of Saxon Warrior remains unexposed so connections should be confident about his chances. Jack Callan is booked for this ride.
