Horse Racing Tips: Bethell runner’s new lease of life to continue at Beverley

There's a blend of Flat and Jump racing coming our way on Tuesday from the UK and Ireland. There are six meetings on offer, so I'm afforded plenty of options to put together a Daily Double.

15:48 Beverley - Bradbury @ 9/2

Six races are scheduled for Beverley on Tuesday but it's the Beverley Annual Badgeholders Handicap that has really caught my eye. This contest over 1m2f has nine runners declared and the standout in this roster is BRADBURY for Edward Bethell's yard.

The three-year-old gelding got off the mark at the eighth attempt at Leicester on June 8 over the same distance, having switched to eye shields and a tongue tie. This change in headgear looks to have transformed him out on the track.

He held off Captain Cairney to win by half-a-length before registering the same margin of victory on his last outing at Wetherby on June 15.

Bradbury's had just shy of a month off but he's in good shape ahead of his hat-trick bid at Beverley.

15:57 Leicester - Lope Y Linda @ 7/4

There are seven races to look forward to at Leicester and LOPE Y LINDA contests the 15:57 Class 6 handicap over 7f. This filly is representing Tim Easterby's stable as she seeks a third career victory.

Her two successes to date have come in the past two months, starting at Catterick over the same distance on May 21. The latest came at Ayr on June 20 as she defeated Ridgemaster by two lengths as the 11/10 favourite.

The three-year-old has also posted two respectable second-place finishes during this period at Musselburgh and Ayr, as well as a disappointing showing at Beverley (10/14) but this has looks to have been nothing more than a brief blip.

The daughter of Lope Y Fernandez has strong form this season and this should stand her in good stead at Leicester on Tuesday.
